‘Rob And Chyna’: Rob Kardashian Agrees To Start Therapy In Season Finale Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
The season finale of E!’s latest reality TV series, Rob and Chyna, airs tonight, and it looks like the short, six-episode docuseries is going have a happy ending. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians spin-off follows the only son of the Kardashian clan, Rob, and his relationship with his pregnant fiancé, Blac Chyna, and their story seems as if it has only just begun.
In a sneak peek for the upcoming Rob and Chyna season finale, 29-year-old Rob Kardashian sits down for a heart to heart with his fiancé, who is the video vixen and makeup artist, Blac Chyna. Rob’s domestic partner, Blac Chyna, is also pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Chyna, 28, is already mom to her son 4-year-old King Cairo, whom she shares with her ex-fiance and “Rack City” rapper Tyga. The rapper is currently dating Rob’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.
The six hour-long episodes give fans a deeper glance into Rob and Chyna’s relationship, which isn’t always easy, Us Weekly reported. As with every new relationship, the couple experiences blow-out fights, mostly stemming from Rob’s insecurities and Chyna’s stubborn ways. But they also experience sweet reconciliations as well.
On the show, Rob has been open about his struggle with depression, which caused him to gain more than 100 pounds. The shame he felt about his weight gain was enough to keep him out of the public eye for at least four years. Rob became a recluse and even missed his sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding to her rapper husband, Kanye West.
But in the sneak peek for tonight’s season finale of Rob and Chyna, it seems like Rob Kardashian finally realizes that his insecurities and emotional issues might the what’s holding him back from having a healthy relationship with his future wife and the mother of his child, Blac Chyna. After considering it, Rob sits down on a balcony at Chyna’s home, and he reveals that he’s ready to try therapy in order to work on himself and his relationship with Chyna.
“I think, you know, seeing somebody like to talk to or whatever, it’s not gonna hurt to just try it out, you know,” Rob tells Chyna, nervously pulling at his earlobe.
“I personally don’t really agree with the whole thing but I’m more than willing to try it out and to do that if it’s going to benefit you and I,” the father-to-be continues. “So, I just talked to Scott about it and they just think it would be helpful.”
Rob mentions Scott Disick, the longtime on again, off again partner of his sister Kourtney Kardashian. Disick has had a supporting role in Rob’s life and on Rob and Chyna. Scott was there to give Kardashian advice and to motivate him to better himself, not only for Rob’s sake but for Chyna and his unborn child. Disick has struggled with his own issues in the past stemming from substance abuse, and Rob reveals that it was Disick who suggested professional help for Rob’s personal issues.
“Scott suggested therapy,” Rob tells the cameras in his confessional. “I’m obviously more than willing to do whatever it takes for Chyna, and I’m willing to try it.”
Chyna listens intently as her fiancée opens up about his willingness to seek help in order to improve their relationship, and she responds in a positive, supportive way.
“I mean I know how like against it you was,” Chyna tells Rob. “And like, opening up to like a stranger probably would make you feel like a little bit uncomfortable but I’m glad that you like are willing to do something to save our relationship or make me feel comfortable.”
