Tori Spelling was seen showing off her baby bump this week in Santa Monica. She was seen leaving a bookstore in a leopard print top stretched over her growing belly. A pair of blue-jean shorts and a pair of fringe suede ankle boots completed her confident look. She even drew more attention to her baby bump by wearing a fancy belt across it, says an article from Too Fab. The actress and reality TV star, 43, had previously announced with her husband, Dean McDermott, that they had another baby on the way. This one will be their fifth child together. Dean and Tori’s other children include Liam, 9, Stella, 8, Hattie 5, and Finn, 4. The new pregnancy came as a surprise, says People, but not a bad one.
“But we always wanted a big family. I’m really excited. This baby happened at the best time. Nothing is ever perfect, but I’m so madly in love with my husband and with our kids. The idea of adding to that is such a blessing.”

Unfortunately, the love story between Tori Spelling and her husband hasn’t always been one of complete paradise. Three years ago, the pair struggled through one of the biggest challenges a couple can face. Dean cheated on Tori in a one-night-stand with a woman he met while in Canada filming for his cooking reality show. Tori found out about it in the most awful way – she saw it on a cover of Us Weekly. Her world came crashing down, and she had to find a way to face it. In true Tori style, she chose to face it head on with a reality show. She created a show called True Tori because she felt she owed it to her fans to be upfront and honest about her life.
“Everything about me was stripped away with one magazine cover. That was it. It was that Us Weekly cover… Then when it came out, I didn’t know what I was going to do. This wasn’t going away.”
Fortunately, Tori Spelling knew they both had what it took to rebuild their relationship, and Dean did the work to restore her trust in him. According to Daily Mail, Tori worked equally as hard to protect their image as America’s sweetheart couple. It broke her heart to think of losing that image. Though the couple went through some agonizing times, much of it in the public eye, they both claim their marriage is now stronger than ever.
“We’ve gone through our ups and downs, but we wouldn’t have changed a moment of it. Obviously three years ago we hit a really rough patch and we made the conscious decision based on our love for each other and our family as a whole to tough it out and work through it and get through it.”
As previously reported in the Inquisitr, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott announced their pregnancy together, along with a family photo shoot proudly showing off her baby bump. Dean seems to be sharing in his wife’s excitement about the new baby, even joking that they would soon need a van to get their family from place to place. Both Dean and Tori look back on the ups and downs of their marriage and share the feeling that they’re glad they were able to hold it together. Adding to their family may just be the way they can best seal the bond they share.
“I feel like people take marriage too lightly in this day and age. Sometimes things happen in life and they’re mistakes, but love doesn’t just turn off. That’s not how our hearts work. I want our kids to know one day that we stuck it out and worked through it.”
So while Tori Spelling is out and about in Santa Monica showing off her baby bump, fans can be assured she and her hubby are thrilled about their growing family. Do you think the couple has what it takes to make it work? Will the new baby bring them closer together or will the stress of being a Hollywood “it” couple be too much?
