‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7, Episodes 1-3 Synopses And Titles For Episodes 7-8 [Spoilers]
The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres on AMC in exactly eight days, not that anyone is counting. Recently, a lot of details have been released about what to expect. Now, the synopses for Episodes 1-3 have been revealed, which provide clues on what is going to happen with Rick Grimes, Negan, and the rest of the characters. Also, the titles of Episodes 7 and 8 were released.
TWD spoilers are ahead. If you don’t want any clues on what to expect, then do not continue reading.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a lot of details were released in The Walking Dead Season 7, Episodes 1-7 spoiler roundup. However, at the time, the titles of the episodes were not available. That has changed and not only do we now know that information, but the title of Episode 8 was also unveiled by Spoiler TV.
The title of the Season 7 premiere is “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.” Additionally, the synopsis was also revealed. As TWD fans recall, last time Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the other characters were seen, Negan made his big introduction. However, viewers did not find out who Negan killed on The Walking Dead. The identity of the person (or people) who died will be revealed in the season premiere.
“Last season ended with Rick and our group kneeling helplessly before Negan and his group; what Negan does will haunt those who survive forever.”
Season 7, Episode 2 is titled “The Well.” The synopsis for the October 30 episode states that a new community that is “well-established” may not be all that it appears. It is teased that it just seems too good to be true. By “new” community, it does not refer to a group that has just laid roots. It means that the community is new to Rick and the others. It is clear that the synopsis is talking about Ezekiel’s group, the Kingdom. According to AMC’s press network, Khary Payton will make his debut as Ezekiel in Episode 3, so the timing of the Kingdom makes sense.
The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 3 is called “The Cell.” The synopsis teases that a community seems to have it all. However, everything comes at a price. What exactly is that price and will it affect Alexandria? It is already known that Morgan (Lennie James) and Carol (Melissa McBride) will end up in the Kingdom, but will they agree to pay up if they choose to stay?
Unfortunately, the titles and synopses of Episodes 4-6 have not been made available yet. However, Episode 7 is called “Blazing Hell” and Episode 8 is titled “Exodus,” according to Spoiler TV.
Other information regarding The Walking Dead Season 7 comes directly from Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan. The actor went on Live With Kelly to talk about TWD, his character, and Lucille. It turns out that fans will find out why Negan’s baseball bat is called Lucille. The actor said viewers will probably find out eventually on the show, but Negan’s deceased wife’s name was Lucille. There was a theory that Lucille was the name of someone special or significant. It turns out that they were correct.
It only makes sense that if why the baseball bat was named Lucille is revealed, the rest of Negan’s story will be told as well. Questions that should be answered in Season 7 of The Walking Dead include how Negan came to rule over the Saviors. Has he been in power since the beginning of the zombie apocalypse or did something happen afterward? What exactly makes his brain tick? TWD fans will just have to watch to find out.
