‘Game Of Thrones’ Leaks Confirm A 2017 Stark Family Reunion

As Season 7 of Game of Thrones draws near and the end of the series looms overhead, news for the beginning of that end reveals some sparse details about what fans can expect, as far as how the final chapters unfold. Fans already received a bit of bad news when HBO announced the Season 7 Game of Thrones premiere had been pushed back to summer 2017, as opposed to the usual spring debut. In light of the longer wait, it seems only fair that there should be some teasers released to keep fans eager for the next Game of Thrones installment, and what better way than to taunt us with another long-awaited Stark family reunion?
What Does Game Of Thrones Plan For Daenerys Targaryen In Season 7?
Daenerys Targaryen is on the move again! Game of Thrones fans will be happy to learn that the Mother of Dragons is heading for Westeros, but she’ll have to make a brief pit stop at the ruins of Dragonpit on Rhaenys’ Hill first. There’s no word on what Daenerys will be doing there, but, considering this was the location Daenerys’ ancestors kept their dragons, it may have something to do with her own pets. Perhaps she’s searching for more dragons.
At some point, the Game of Thrones’ Targaryen character will interact with a few characters she hasn’t yet had the opportunity to meet. News is scarce as to how Emilia Clarke’s character will meet Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), but the fact that Targaryen will cross paths with these two suggests a deeper story arc.
As Game of Thrones fans have come to realize, Davos and Brienne are devoted to the Stark family, some might say loyal to a fault, so the mere fact that Clarke’s character will meet up with these two in particular suggests that there might be a more meaningful reunion down the road. Could Game of Thrones be paving the way to an even more memorable Stark family reunion?
Will Game Of Thrones Finally Bring Arya Together With Her Brother?
Early indications suggest that Arya Stark and Bran Stark will finally reunite, or, at least, that’s the way it looked on a recent Game of Thrones set, when Maisie Williams, who plays Arya, was spotted sharing time in the make-up trailer with Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran Stark. A fan has shared a photo on Instagram in which Williams and Wright seemed chummy in the trailer, though it was noted that it is still unclear if the two interact in any upcoming Game of Thrones scenes.
It was also reported that Kit Harington was also on set at the same time. This could indicate that Game of Thrones Season 7 will see another Stark family reunion, bringing Arya together with Bran and Jon Snow. Sophie Turner’s Sansa Stark surely can’t be far behind.
Another indicator that Arya will be reuniting with family at their traditional Winterfell home is the outfit Williams was spotted wearing for her scenes in Game of Thrones‘ next installment. Arya has bundled up, donning winter attire, which only seems to offer further proof that she has come home to stay.
After teaming Sansa and Jon Snow together, bringing Arya and Bran together can only serve to fortify the House of Stark that much more and return it to its former glory. Eddard Stark would be proud.
With the Starks reunited and Daenerys Targaryen on her way to Westeros, it seems the Lannisters’ days are numbered.
