Be prepared for TVD spoilers. If you prefer not to know what could happen on The CW series, then do not continue reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the mystery monster’s effect on Damon and Enzo will be the focus of Season 8. Spoilers for The Vampire Diaries reveal a lot of clues about the new big bad. However, there is more recent information that highlights the future of the other characters.

The Futon Critic recently released the synopses of Episodes 1-3. The descriptions give big clues on what TVD fans can expect when the supernatural series kicks off next week.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premiere is titled “Hello Brother.” A few promo clips have been released, which show just how much Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) is affected by the unidentified creature. The synopsis teases that Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) is determined to locate and save his brother. Even though Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) is beginning to lose hope, she also joins the search. As for Caroline Forbes (Candice King), there is a mysterious threat that could be targeting her own family.

“Months after Damon and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) mysteriously vanished from the Armory vault, Stefan tirelessly pushes forward with their search, while Bonnie struggles holding onto hope that they will be found. Meanwhile, a dangerous encounter with an unexpected visitor leaves Caroline and Alaric (Matt Davis) fearing that someone – or something – may be targeting their family. Finally, after following some mysterious clues, Stefan realizes that whatever has a hold of his brother may have a more damaging grip over him than he could have ever imagined.”

As seen in The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premiere promo, Enzo snaps at Damon. He wants to know if there will ever be enough bodies for him to get full. However, there is speculation that Enzo was not directing the question at Damon, but at Sybil, who is rumored to be the mystery monster.

Season 8, Episode 2 is titled “Today Will Be Different.” The synopsis reveals that someone from Stefan’s past may be targeted next. It isn’t revealed who the intended victim is. However, Stefan, Bonnie, and Caroline go on a road trip to North Carolina. Once they arrive, Bonnie does something desperate to try to save Enzo from the monster’s grip.

In the second episode of The Vampire Diaries, also expect Alaric and Georgie (Allison Scagliotti) to discover a symbol that could be related to the entity that has a hold on Damon and Enzo. The synopsis also states that Caroline will get a surprise from Stefan.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 3 is titled “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving.” From the synopsis, it seems that Enzo has more fight in him than Damon. While the elder Salvatore brother is going along with the force that is controlling him, Enzo is fighting as hard as he can. Meanwhile, Bonnie has to make a tough decision that will affect both of the affected vampires, who happen to be the two most important men in her life.

Back at the Armory, Alaric looks into an artifact that could help save Damon and Enzo in The Vampire Diaries. While that is happening, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) shows up and tries to reason with Damon Salvatore.

What do you think will happen in The Vampire Diaries Season 8? What kind of decision will Bonnie have to make when it comes to Damon and Enzo? Can Alaric save the two affected vampires? Will Tyler be able to help or is it already too late?

New episodes of The Vampire Diaries begin airing on The CW network on October 21.
