Jennifer Love Hewitt Injury: Actress Breaks Her Wrist While Boxing
Jennifer Love Hewitt suffered an injury this weekend while boxing to get in shape for her role in Lifetime’s The Client List.
The actress stars as a single mother working as a high-class prostitute in the television show, and to stay in shape for the part she had been getting into the boxing ring for a workout, starpulse.com reported. Jennifer Love Hewitt talked about her injury on Twitter, though she didn’t go into much detail about how she broke the bone.
A couple of days before debuting the injury, which toofab reported has put he arm in a cast, Jennifer Love Hewitt wrote:
“Guess who broke her wrist yesterday boxing to get fit for season two! I will be spending the weekend resting in my pjs.”
“Thanks for all the concern about my wrist,” she added yesterday. “Has slowed me down but hasn’t stopped me.”
While she may be committed to her role, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s injury was a sacrifice for what critics have called an uneven show in The Client List. When it debuted in April, the show was met with mixed reviews. The Chicago Sun-Times noted that, “(The Client List is) equal parts sex and silly… I can’t bring myself to sit through more of this silliness to find out if there’s a happy ending.”
In the show Jennifer Love Hewitt stars as Riley Parks, a Texas wife and mother who decides to start working at a massage parlor as a way to earn some extra money.
There is no word yet on how Jennifer Love Hewitt’s injury will affect taping of The Client List. It is not expected back until 2013.
