‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Titles & Details About The First Three Episodes Of Season 7 Released
The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere is just days away, and fans are finally getting a little bit of information about the upcoming episodes. This week, titles and details of the first three episodes of the season were officially released by AMC, and the rumor mill is going crazy about what may happen when the series returns to television.
According to Digital Spy, the Walking Dead Season 7 premiere will be titled “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.” This is a nod to a very memorable Season 1 episode where Rick and the group meet Dr. Jenner at the CDC. Jenner, who wants Rick and his gang to end their lives with him, finally agrees to let them go. When Rick replies that he’s grateful, the doctor tells him that “the day will come when you won’t be,” before revealing to Rick that everyone is infected and will turn at the time of their death, whenever that may be.
It looks like that day has officially come. The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere is set to be the most intense and emotional of the series. It seems that Rick won’t be grateful for everything that’s happened to him and his group since walking out of the CDC in Season 1, and viewers are going to get a heartbreaking look into Rick’s mindset throughout Season 7.
The second episode of Season 7 is called “The Well,” and the synopsis reads, “For a number of familiar faces, a new, well-established community seems too good to be true.”
Walking Dead fans believe that this is when viewers are likely to see their first glimpse of the Kingdom and Ezekiel. This community is where Carol and Morgan are rumored to be, so they will probably be featured prominently in the episode.
The Walking Dead Season 7’s third episode is called “The Cell,” and the synopsis for this episode reads, “A new group of survivors seem to have it all in their impressive community. However, there is a price.”
The “impressive community” could be Ezekiel’s Kingdom, or it could be Negan’s home of the Sanctuary. It seems more likely that The Sanctuary is being referenced here, and that the cell could be where the Saviors hold their prisoners. Spoilers and rumors for the upcoming episodes reveal that Daryl is likely to be taken prison by Negan, and it could be his cell that the title is referring to.
Meanwhile, everyone is trying to figure out what will happen in the Walking Dead Season 7 premiere. The synopsis is brief for the secretive episode, but fans do know to expect death. In fact, it seems that more than one of Rick’s group members will lose their lives at the hands of Negan in the premiere. While the identity of the victim(s) has yet to be revealed, many fans believe that Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford will be the ones murdered in the season opener.
Another theory is that Negan will also kill a piece of Rick. After a new clip from the Walking Dead Season 7 premiere was released online, fans are freaking out that Rick might actually lose his right hand. In the clip, Negan talks about his right hand man, and then asks for Rick’s hatchet before dragging him off into his RV. Will Rick finally suffer his comic book fate of losing his hand, or is the show just teasing a storyline that will never happen on the series?
What are your thoughts on the latest Walking Dead Season 7 spoilers and news? Do you think the titles of the first three episodes give anything away?
