Trump Tape Leak Embarrassed and Destroyed Billy Bush’s Career

A tape was leaked of Donald Trump having a shockingly inappropriate conversation about women with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood in 2005. Donald Trump was married to Melanie Trump at the time the recording was made. Ever since the scandalous tape recording of Trump was leaked, Billy Bush’s reputation has been damaged, his career is in jeopardy, and he worries that he may get fired from the TODAY show.

As more details continue to surface, Trump stands his ground, warning his presidential opponent Hillary Clinton that there is “zero change” he will be dropping out of the race, according to Radar Online.

However, Billy Bush is a bit more concerned than Trump seems to be, as his career is in serious danger after petitions to fire him from the TODAY show have been shared across social media since Friday.

Bush was heard on the recording making sexist comments.

“Your girl’s hot as s—, in the purple.”

Followed by Trump admitted to hitting on a married woman, when he was also married at the time.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it.

I did try and f— her. She was married.”

Trump continued on to talk about a woman in a degrading manner.

“And I moved on her very heavily.

“In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t— and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

According to a sources from NBC, Bush will not be fired for his inappropriate conversation with Trump about married women back over a decade ago.

“There have been no discussions of any type of disciplinary action.”

Bush is expected to appear back on the show as usual on Monday.

As soon as the tape recording of Bush and Trump was leaked, Bush was quick to make a public statement and apology to clear his name.

“Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s not excuse, but this happened eleven years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.”

According to PEOPLE, insiders were concerned about Bush’s behavior behind closed doors.

“This was personal.

“He was turning on his co-workers and friends to suck to Donald Trump. So it’s like, ‘What does he say about me when I’m not in the room?”

Billy Bush isn’t going anywhere on the TODAY show. However, the 44-year-old anchor will make an apology on Monday’s episode, September 10 at 9 a.m. ET.

Bush is said to be addressing his vulgar comments in the recording of him speaking with Donald Trump, according to an NBC source.

“The plan is to have him apologize.”

NBC execs are hopeful that Bush will be able to make a career recovery after this scandal, having only joined the TODAY show this year, after previously being on Access Hollywood for years.

The tape recording was actually leaked by a producer at Access Hollywood who happened to come across it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

NBC executives claim that once they had heard the recording of the conversation between Trump and Bush on Access Hollywood, they “immediately decided it was newsworthy, there was never any question that we need to protect Billy or that it would see air.”

Much like Donald Trump, Billy Bush has rubbed some people the wrong way. Although new to his gig at the TODAY show, Bush has already stirred up some drama and sources have described him as “unliked” even before the Trump tape was released.

Trump and Bush’s recorded conversation has a lot of women completely outraged, Trump is certainly bound to lose some of his women voters after this tape was brought to light.
