Robert De Niro Trump Video Shows He Wanted To Punch Donald Trump In The Face Even Before The Lewd Comments

Robert De Niro wants us to know that the Raging Bull star would really like to punch Donald Trump in the face, and De Niro even said so in a previously unaired clip from a get out-the-vote series of videos. The short clip didn’t quite make it into the public service announcements – for obvious reasons – but it makes it plain that De Niro and Trump will never be the best of friends.
As reported by Cox Media Group, the videos in question featured a number of celebrities, from Samuel L. Jackson to Leonardo DiCaprio, encouraging people – in a bipartisan way – to get out and vote. While a tiny clip of Robert De Niro saying “What do you care about?” does appear in one of their videos, the main segment he recorded was not included.
According to the AP, Robert De Niro has made no secret of his intense dislike for the Republican presidential nominee – comparing Trump to the thuggish Taxi Driver character that De Niro portrayed in the movie of the same name. And in this short segment De Niro ironically pulls no punches.
“I mean, he’s so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a pig. he’s a con, a bulls**t artist, a mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes. He’s an idiot.”
At this point in the video, De Niro is in part voicing the mounting frustration that many people have felt ever since the truth came out that Donald Trump probably hasn’t paid any taxes in the last 18 years. Many of Trump’s relatively poor supporters actually pay higher taxes than he does.
By leaning on the words of a Republican who he seems to have a bit more respect for than Donald Trump, Robert De Niro then goes on in the video to reveal just how upset and angry he is with the fact that Trump has somehow become the presidential nominee of the Republican Party.
“Colin Powell said it best: He’s a national disaster. He’s an embarrassment to this country. It makes me so angry that this country had gotten to the point that this fool, this bozo, has wound up where he has.”
The interesting aspect of the last part of the De Niro segment – in which he relates his desire to punch Donald Trump in the face – is that it was almost certainly recorded long before any of the more recent scandals have occurred involving Donald Trump, from his ongoing playboy porn video situation to the unbearably lewd comments Trump made in a video that was released just yesterday.
It’s in the closing few seconds of the unaired Robert De Niro get out the vote video that he finally makes it plain just how he feels about the often bragging, bullying, misogynistic and offensive things that Donald Trump says and does.
“He talks how he wants to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face. This is somebody that we want for president? I don’t think so. What I care about is the direction of this country. And what I’m very, very worried about is that it might go in the wrong direction with someone like Donald Trump.”

Of course, with all of Trump’s other serious problems, including last night’s midnight loss of face apology for the 2005 sexual predator tips he gave to Billy Bush and the upcoming second presidential debate disaster he’s likely facing now, the last thing that Donald Trump needs is to know that Robert De Niro is somewhere out there wanting to beat him to a pulp.
