Prince Harry Receives A Hug From A Child, But Not Taylor Swift, As Ellie Goulding Dodges Pregnancy Rumors [Video]

Prince Harry’s relationship status still remains a mystery. Within one week, he has been connected to two pop singers, Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding.

Last week, the Inquisitr reported that rumors of a Prince Harry and Taylor Swift connection began swirling when 26-year-old Taylor Swift expressed an interest in him, hoping, perhaps jokingly, she wanted to be the next Princess of the Commonwealth. This week, 29-year-old pop star Ellie Goulding is dodging pregnancy rumors after she was spotted spending time with the prince behind the scenes of a polo match this summer, reports Women’s Day.

There are no available confirmed accounts to suggest that Prince Harry has even met Taylor Swift, never mind begun to date her. He was however spotted with Ellie Goulding last summer at a polo match, with a smitten smile on his face after Ellie took center stage. Now, Ellie Goulding is dodging pregnancy rumors.

He has not, to date, received a hug from Taylor Swift that we know of. But, as we previously reported, when a source close to Taylor Swift told the Sun that Taylor would love to meet the Prince, the source also hinted that Taylor hoped her friend Ellie Goulding would introduce them.

Just a few days later Ellie Goulding appeared on The Project to talk about her latest work, music for the latest Bridget Jones Diary film called Bridget Jones’s Baby. Instead, she went red when asked if she was carrying the prince’s child and called the interviewer “naughty.”

Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry also shared a hug and some reported “canoodling” behind the scenes of the Invictus Games in 2014. These sightings have sent the rumor mill into a pregnancy fury.

This happens all of the time with the royals. Kate Middleton has been pregnant for approximately five years, according to the accounts coming out of the rumor mill.

If Prince Harry were to express an interest in either of the blonde bombshells, most royal watchers have already stated that Taylor Swift may not be the best choice for a future wife of the fifth in line and that she wouldn’t be a choice approved by the Queen.

Ellie Goulding, however, already does have her foot in the royal circle, having performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. She also regularly lunches with Prince Harry’s cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

Unlike Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding also has actually been seen with the Prince in question. That doesn’t mean she is pregnant.

Whether Prince Harry even knows about any of these rumors is unclear. He has been very busy working on his charity work. While Ellie Goulding was dodging pregnancy rumors, Hello Magazine reports that this week, Prince Harry appeared at London’s Dorchester Hotel for the Well Child Awards and received a hug from a sick child suffering from Batten disease.

Although there are many pretty ladies that have captured the prince’s attentions and affections over the years, it was 5-year-old Ollie Carroll that made the prince glow this week. Ollie suffers from a disorder known as Batten disease, a disorder that impacts his mobility and will eventually render his muscles unusable.

But at the Well Child Award event, Ollie was able to get on his feet to share a hug with Prince Harry. Ollie was the recipient of the Inspirational Child award, an award that goes to children between the ages of 4 and 6 years. Ollie’s mom said she wasn’t sure if Ollie even knew who he was hugging, reports Hello Magazine.

But she also said that she was “instinctively drawn to Harry” and wouldn’t take his arms off him.

On Prince Harry, Lucy, Ollie’s mom said, “He was thrilled – they both were. He [Harry] is very privileged because Ollie can not stand up by himself and he has used his strength to stand up and hug him.”

It was just one moment of many that reportedly warmed Prince Harry’s heart that day. Before the ceremony, Hello Magazine reports that the prince made a point of spending time with all of the children, even joking with a young lady, 10-year-old Jessica Davis, that his own brother, Prince William, is “embarrassing all the time.”

Jessica was receiving an award for caring for her mother who has multiple sclerosis and a brother who has autism. She gave Prince Harry a drawing she had made saying that her brother was “really embarrassing.”

Other gifts Prince Harry received that day included a stuffed monkey from an 8-year-old with lung disease. Three-year-old Oscar asked the prince if he had any giraffes in his garden.

Prince Harry left the event “in awe at the strength of human character, particularly amongst those so young,” reports Hello Magazine.

He also said, “Watching those children and young people face challenges with such determination, positivity, and of course good humor, never fails to take my breath away.”

Prince Harry continued to take the breath away of women all over the world, most notably, 29-year-old British pop star, Ellie Goulding who became flustered during an interview when asked about Prince Harry. This week, Women’s Day reports that Ellie Goulding appeared on The Project to talk about Bridget Jones’s Baby.

Ellie Goulding was cool, collected, and as cute as ever when discussing her work. The tone changed when the Prince’s name came up. When asked about Prince Harry, Ellie Goulding was reportedly “utterly flushed.” Ellie was not only directly questioned about her alleged secret relationship with Prince Harry, she was asked if she was carrying his child.

“Please don’t let me go red. Why did I have a feeling that was going to come up? You naughty people.”

She expressly denied she was pregnant, according to Hello Magazine, but completely lost her cool at the mention of Prince Harry. It sent the entire studio into a frenzy. Watch the entire interview here.

The relationship between Goulding and Prince Harry remains to be seen, although it is unlikely that she is carrying his child, and she has expressly denied she is pregnant at all. However, unlike Taylor Swift, there are enough Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry rumors afloat to add fuel to the rumor mill.

But it does not look like the Ellie Goulding-Prince Harry rumors are dissipating anytime soon. Ellie Goulding does shine up a little bit at the mere mention of his name, and Prince Harry’s expression at the polo match suggests he shines up a little bit too around Ellie Goulding.

Ellie Goulding also has a known footing in royal circles, having performed at the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She also performs for the royals regularly and performed at the 2014 Invictus Games. It was the Audi Polo match in Berkshire this summer, where they were allegedly seen sharing a kiss.
