Tamar Braxton & Vince Herbert Embroiled In Another Domestic Dispute, Police Called [Report]
Tamar Braxton and husband Vince Herbert were allegedly embroiled in another domestic dispute that got so intense police were called to the scene.
According to a new report by the Daily Mail Online, the latest reported altercation between Tamar and her husband happened “a few months ago” at the couple’s Calabasas home in California.
The site didn’t reveal the exact details of what supposedly went down between Braxton and her husband, but claimed that things got so heated between the couple, who married in 2008, that Tamar’s sister Toni Braxton called the police to the scene.
“When authorities arrived, they took statements from several of the other family members on hand,” the site revealed of the alleged domestic abuse incident, while a source close to the Braxton family claimed that police later left the scene without pressing charges against Herbert because Tamar did not appear to have any physical injuries on her body.
“Again, since there were no physical signs of battery, Vince was not arrested,” a source revealed to Daily Mail Online of the couple, who have a 3-year-old son named Logan. “But these fights are happening more and more.”
The source then went on to allege that Tamar’s famous sisters Toni, Towanda, Traci, and Trina Braxton are “happy” that the drama in Braxton and Herbert’s marriage is now hitting the headlines, but claimed that Tamar and her husband are unlikely to let on that there could be drama within their marriage.
“What’s going on with Tamar and Vince is business as usual,” the site’s insider claimed, “and the public is learning what their family and friends have always known.”
Braxton and Herbert are yet to comment on Daily Mail Online’s report alleging that the two were recently embroiled in yet another domestic dispute, though the latest domestic abuse allegations come just hours after Tamar appeared to play down reports of drama within the twosome’s marriage on Instagram.
Tamar posted a video of herself and Vince cozying up together on the social media site in the early hours of October 5, where Braxton could be seen singing into Vince’s ear before kissing him on the cheek and neck just hours before Daily Mail Online published the latest domestic abuse allegations.
“He gets it,” Braxton captioned the video, which marked the first time Tamar had posted a photo or video of herself with Vince in several weeks after Bossip claimed that that the couple got into a separate domestic dispute that allegedly turned physical during a trip to Atlanta, Georgia.
Bossip alleged earlier this year that Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert got into a dispute at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in the city and reported that things got so out of hand that Herbert allegedly bit Braxton on the hand so hard that he “drew blood.”
It’s not clear if the Calabasas incident took place before or after the couple’s drama in Atlanta, though the Daily Mail Online reported at the time that police were also called to the scene of their Georgia dispute but left after determining that the incident was a verbal dispute that got out of hand.
TMZ published audio of the 911 call, where a male stated that Tamar had been bitten by Vince and confirmed that Herbert had fled the scene in a taxi.
Braxton and Herbert have not officially confirmed either domestic dispute incident took place, though Tamar did appear to allude to the domestic abuse allegations in a candid video shot by a paparazzo who spoke to the Braxton Family Values star last month as she made her way through the airport.
Tamar appeared to address the domestic dispute reports in a candid video uploaded to Instagram by Braxton fan @TamarHQ, in which the singer can be heard telling fans speculating about the state of her and Herbert’s marriage to “take several seats.”
“Just because somebody says something doesn’t make it law. I’m not even [trying to] defend my relationship to anybody. Ever. This is a marriage,” Tamar said in the clip, seemingly dispelling rumors of domestic abuse between herself and her husband.
“This is not my baby daddy. This is not my boyfriend. We don’t live together. This is my husband for 13 years,” Tamar continued of Vince amid the abuse allegations. “So everybody else can have several seats.”
Braxton was then asked in the video if she and Vince were okay following the alleged domestic dispute, to which she replied, “God is good.”
