The Walking Dead Season 3 spoilers are leaking out on the eve of the ultra-popular show’s premiere on October 14. Some fans want to plug their ears and close their eyes when posts from inside sources offer a glimpse into the upcoming season. Impatient fans eager for news about the enigmatic zombie fighters will not be disappointed with the growing number of spoilers emerging about the cult hit.
The death of Shane in the The Walking Dead Season 2 finale was a huge plot twist, but, if spoiler alerts are accurate, there are plenty more exciting happenings planned for Season 3. Fans of the graphic novel series about Rick and his group of end of the world refugees. will likely be delighted to discover that the upcoming episodes do align themselves a bit more with the text in their comic books.
According to Screen Rant and a TWD trailer, the Governor, a villain, will be introduced and wreak havoc on the prison Rick and company fight to claim as their own. A character named Michonne, who saved Andrea from a nasty zombie bite in the Season 2 finale, is also expected to become a series regular.
Fans of T-Dog may be disappointed if TWD spoiler alerts are correct. A series regular is supposed to meet an untimely demise. Exactly who will die and how many episodes into the season the tragedy will occur is not yet known. A lot of rumors and unconfirmed speculations point to T-Dog as the next group member to placed in a shallow and quickly dug grave.
Executive Producer Robert Kirkman had this to say new TWD premiere:
“What I really like about the transition from Season 2 to Season 3 as opposed to Season 1 to Season 2 transition, is that when we were moving into Season 2, there were so many unknowns. All of the questions were, ‘Are we going to see the farm? Are they going to follow the comic?’ And now that we’re moving into Season 3, we’ve seen Michonne. We’ve seen the prison. We know that the Governor has been cast. So the fans really have a clear indication of what kind of things to expect in the third season and where we’re going and some of the stories that we may be telling, if they’re familiar with the comic book series. We’re wrapping up the first half [of filming] and we’ve got everything nailed down. I can’t wait for people to see it. There are still some surprises around the corner.”
The latest Walking Dead trailer shows Rick telling someone, possibly the Governor or the recently returned Merle, that his group spilled blood taking the prison. Merle is supposedly a member of the Governor’s crew and has no love for either Rick or T-Dog.
