Nick Viall Joining The Backstreet Boys? ‘The Bachelor’ Shows Off Some Fancy Footwork On Epic Group Date
Backstreet Boys fans got a big surprise last week.
Those lucky enough to attend the boy band’s concert last Friday watched The Bachelor star Nick Viall make a special guest appearance. Did Viall take some of his suitors to watch the group perform?
E! Online is reporting that Viall joined the Backstreet Boys on stage at the IHeart Radio theater. Viall and seven of his suitors danced to “Everybody.”
Following their special choreographed dance, Viall picked one of the ladies to slow dance to “I Want It That Way” while the remaining contestants watched.
“You’re like my personal Ryan Reynolds,” A.J. McLean told Viall on stage. “Not only is Nick handsome, he can move.”
Brian Littrell then offered Viall some advice on how to properly slow dance.
Viall wasn’t the only Bachelor star on hand for the evening.
Fans also got to meet Becca Tilley and Ashley Iaconetti, both of whom were in attendance.
“Nick seemed to have a lot of fun,” a source explained. “The girls are definitely into him and definitely wanted to grab Nick’s attention during the group date.”
Meanwhile, Us Magazine reported that production for the new season of The Bachelor is officially underway.
Apart from the concert, Viall took one of his contestants to a date at Balboa Fun Zone where they were spotted riding a Ferris wheel.
“It seemed like they were enjoying themselves,” a source told the outlet.
Right before filming started, Iaconetti shared a photo on Instagram of her and Viall having dinner with her sister, Lauren, and Jared Haibon.
“The last time I got to hangout with my good friend @nickviall before they whisked him away on his Bachelor journey. He meets the girls for the first time tonight and I already miss him! I hope he finds someone with as good of a heart as he has,” she wrote alongside the image.
Viall hooked up with Jen Saviano on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise and appeared on two seasons of The Bachelorette.
In Season 10, Viall made it to the final round before Andi Dorfman gave her rose to Josh Murray.
In 2015, Viall made another run at love and was the runner-up after Kaitlyn Bristowe picked Shawn Booth.
Now, Viall has another chance at finding love as the new season of The Bachelor is expected to air this winter.
Although many fans were surprised when ABC picked Nick Viall as the next Bachelor, Bustle is reporting that Viall brings a number of interesting things to the reality show.
For starters, it’s clear that Viall is not afraid to say what he really thinks about people, especially after being dumped twice on The Bachelorette.
Speaking of his runner-up status, fans can only hope that it isn’t brought up too much during The Bachelor.
If Viall’s past is dug up this season, then Viall’s old fears about being alone could come back to bite him.
Speaking of fears, Viall will have a tremendous amount of stress on his shoulders as he tries to find love for a fourth time on television.
“Nick is as nervous as any guy I’ve ever seen on Night One… #TheBachelor,” Mike Fleiss shared on Twitter.
Luckily, Ben Higgins and Chris Soules were on hand to give Viall some words of advice about picking the right girl.
Lastly, it’s about time that a Bachelor star has a positive outlook on sex.
In fact, Viall has been very outspoken about sex in the past and isn’t afraid to talk about the topic in front of the camera.
“Sex is not shameful. Whether we admit it or not, sex is an important part of many serious and meaningful relationships,” he wrote on Twitter.
Fans can watch Nick Viall in action when Season 21 of The Bachelor premieres in January of 2017 on ABC. Check out a clip from the concert below.
