‘Teen Mom 2’: Chelsea Houska Married Cole DeBoer, Plans Second Wedding Ceremony [PHOTO]

Chelsea Houska is officially a DeBoer! The star of MTV’s hit reality TV show Teen Mom 2 married her fiance Cole DeBoer in a romantic, private wedding ceremony over the weekend and shared photos from the intimate day on social media.

The 25-year-old Teen Mom 2 star took to her official Instagram account to share a single snapshot from her big day. In her post, Houska held a pair of Polaroid photos against a bouquet of flowers. In the Polaroid, Houska wore a long white gown, her signature long, red hair in loose cascading waves with a flower crown on top.

Her groom, 28-year-old Cole, held her arms as he leaned in for a kiss and Houska’s daughter, 7-year-old Aubree (whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind) can be seen in the shot as well, Us Weekly reported. The little girl wore a white dress and a flower crown just like her momma and she posed with her back to the camera, looking on at her mom and her new stepdad.

“Mr & Mrs DeBoer,” Chelsea wrote in the caption on Instagram.

It was the only photo Houska posted of her special day, which left much to be desired from the Teen Mom 2 star’s nuptials. Fans commented on Chelsea’s post and expressed disappointment when she didn’t share more photos from her big day. But Chelsea took to Twitter and explained that her October 1 ceremony was meant to be private and the expecting couple (Chelsea is currently pregnant with their first child) is planning a more extravagant wedding ceremony next year, In Touch Weekly reported.

“So as most of you already know, yesterday Cole and I got married in a tiny ceremony just with our parents and siblings,” Chelsea wrote on Twitter. “Next year, once our baby is here and able to be a part of it, we will have our big wedding ceremony and reception with our friends/extended family.”

Chelsea and Cole announced that they were expecting their first child together back in July, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Like her wedding announcement, Chelsea spread the news in an Instagram post, with a photo of Aubree holding up an ultrasound scan of baby DeBoer with Chelsea and Cole stood in the background.

But since baby DeBoer isn’t due until February 2017, the happy couple decided to make things official in a small ceremony which took place at the South Dakota cabin owned by Chelsea’s father, Randy Houska, MTV News reported.

“Next year, once our sweet little baby can be a part of it, we will have our big wedding ceremony/reception and that whole shebang,” the Teen Mom 2 star told MTV News. “I want to thank everyone for the well wishes, and I’m excited for my next chapter in life as a wife!”

Chelsea’s love life has been well-documented on Teen Mom 2. She struggled in an unhealthy relationship with her daughter Aubree’s father Adam in earlier seasons, and afterwards she openly doubted that she would ever meet the man of her dreams.

But all of that changed in 2014 when she met Cole at a local gas station. They officially started dating in August of that year and things moved pretty quickly for the couple, as seen during the previous season of Teen Mom 2. Cole moved in with Chelsea and her daughter Aubree and they became parents to a baby pig named Pete.

After a little less than a year of dating, Cole finally popped the question last November with a sweet proposal at the couple’s personal spot in the woods near their home—and he even made sure to get Aubree’s blessing first. Shortly after announcing their engagement on Instagram, Chelsea gushed over Cole and explained that she knew all along that he was “the one” for her.

“The first time I ever saw Cole, before we even talked,” Chelsea told MTV News at the time, “I went home and told my friend Chelsey, ‘I just saw the guy I am going to marry.'”
