Adam Lambert’s 2016 Year In Review, New Album Coming In 2017?
Adam Lambert is having a very successful year so far, according to the Master Herald. The 34-year-old singer is undoubtedly one of the most successful contestants that has ever come out of American Idol.
But this year Adam Lambert is enjoying a great year even though he hasn’t released a single album since last year. Nevertheless, numerous gigs have kept him busy this year. In fact, when Lambert appeared on the 14th season of American Idol, he predicted that one of the contestants, Sal Valentinetti, would gain huge recognition on the show. And Adam Lambert wasn’t wrong, as Valentinetti finished in fifth place.

Lambert has recently been touring around Israel with Queen. In fact, it sure seemed as Lambert and Queen’s members guitarist Brian May and drummer, Roger Taylor, are getting along beautifully as the three were spotted at a diner together recently.
The first time Adam Lambert performed alongside Queen was in 2009, and it was Taylor’s idea to take Lambert, who had just come second in Season 8 of American Idol with a shock defeat by Kris Allen, onstage with the band. Queen loved performing alongside Lambert and they even performed their iconic “We Are the Champions” together.
Then Queen invited Adam Lambert to perform with them during the 2011 MTV Awards. In fact, their collaboration was so well-received they even decided to go on a tour with both the “What Do You Want From Me?” singer and Queen’s all-time hits.

Their collaboration was so successful that Adam Lambert and Queen started working on many charitable causes. Queen’s May and Taylor along with their manager Jim Beach founded The Mercury Phoenix Trust, and Adam Lambert has joined the cause this year to celebrate the 70th birth anniversary of Freddie Mercury.
Adam Lambert recorded a video asking people to raise 70 dollars, euros, yen, or pounds to fight AIDS worldwide. The singer’s most recent hit, “Ghost Town,” which has been rocking radio stations for over a year now, was written to inspire people to overcome their struggles and become stronger.
Shortly after “Ghost Town,” Adam Lambert released his single “Broken,” which his fans expected to be the song that would bring back the strong and independent Lambert. And while “Broken” wasn’t exactly about Lambert’s strength, fans still hope that the music video for the single will have a more positive tone.
“Broken” appears on Painting with Dreams, the latest album of music duo Tritonal, which was released on September 9.
It’s yet unclear when Adam Lambert is planning to release his own studio album, but there have been rumors that an album could be released somewhere in the middle of 2017. As yet, though, an official release date for a new Adam Lambert album has not been confirmed.
And while there is no release date for Adam Lambert’s new album yet, at least fans can already start watching the revamped X Factor Australia, according to the Daily Telegraph.
