Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Divorce On Hold: Fearful Of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Similar Custody Battle

Jennifer Garner has no plans on moving forward with her divorce from Ben Affleck, especially after having seen how things are turning out for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Garner seems to give off the impression that she fears ending up like Brad and Angelina, who are currently fighting for sole custody of their six children, consequently forcing the children to choose between which parent they’d rather stay with.

Recent reports have alleged that things have turned icy cold between the couple of twelve years. Angelina has already moved out of the home she shared with Brad, having taken the kids with her — and she plans on keeping it that way.

Jennifer Garner, on the other hand, is looking at the situation as something she wants to avoid happening to her marriage at all costs.

After the revelation of Affleck’s supposed affair with the family’s nanny, Jennifer Garner not only rushed to file for divorce, she was also said to have kicked the famous actor out of their home in Pasadena.

Everything became too much for Garner, who still had to commit herself to her motherhood duties along with her hectic Hollywood career. Had she not known any better, she would’ve probably ended up taking the same actions as Angelina, Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests.

But now that she’s had a year to think about her decision to file for divorce, her opinion has changed. The 13 Going On 30 actress is said to be reconsidering the idea of finalizing her divorce, having openly admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year that she was still very much in love with her husband of ten years.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals, “Seeing how so many Hollywood marriages have fallen apart this year, including Brangelina and Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Ben and Jennifer have realized that they don’t want to be part of that narrative.”

As mentioned, the outlet insinuates that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have weighed their options; both were on the same page as far as their marriage and parenting are concerned, which was further explained by Us Weekly, revealing that the couple is on much better terms. They don’t want to end up like Johnny and Amber, or Angelina and Brad.

Their three children are Jennifer and Ben’s main concern — never should they have to pick between their parents on who they would want to live with. Jennifer Garner had all the reasons to shame Ben with his alleged cheating, and she very well could’ve made him suffer by taking the children from him.

Some say she could’ve even blackmailed him to give up his custody rights unless he wanted her to publicly confirm the affair, but instead, she stayed quiet, and now that she looks back at her decision, Jennifer Garner isn’t regretting it one bit.

According to reports, Garner and Ben are still living under the same roof, just different beds. The duo is still trying to figure out how to move forward after an incredible and hectic year for the both of them.

While Jennifer cared for the couple’s three children all whilst shooting two films in America, Ben Affleck has been flying all around the world as part of his contract with the Batman V. Superman franchise, which has certainly kept him busy in the midst of the cheating scandal.

No word on whether Jennifer Garner will ever push through with the divorce, but for right now, sources say there are no plans to end the marriage.
