Chris Brown Moving On From Karrueche Tran? Singer Asks Fans To Stop Tagging Him In Posts About Ex

Chris Brown may have sparked reunion rumors with Karrueche Tran after name-dropping his former girlfriend in his sultry “Back To Sleep (Remix)” track earlier this year, but it looks like Brown is putting an end to the reunion speculation after taking to Instagram to ask fans to stop tagging him in posts that are related to his past relationship with the model and actress.

On Thursday, one fan took to the social media site to share a throwback Instagram post written by Chris Brown in which the singer gushed over his longtime relationship with Karrueche before declaring the model his “WCW” (Woman Crush Wednesday) and hinting at the possibility of starting a family with the model.

“@karrueche damn near 5 years and this woman still putting up with my s***,” Brown began in his post from 2014. “Need to have this baby and stop playing! Lol! My WCW.”

In the caption of the post, one user began reflecting on the demise of Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran’s relationship while noting that despite fans’ hopes that Brown and Tran would eventually reunite after calling it quits last year, relationships often “don’t work out” the way people intended.

“When you really wanted this to happen between this couple but things just don’t work out!” the fan began in the caption of their Instagram post. “Relationships don’t last forever and that’s what I learned from my past relationships! But I got so much love for both of these people! Especially Chris *heart emoji*.”

Shortly after the fan posted the throwback message to Instagram, Chris Brown took to the comment section of the post to send a clear message to fans about tagging him in posts relating to his former relationship with Karrueche.

“Stop @ing me in this NUTT A** S***,” Chris Brown began in his comment, as seen in a screengrab obtained by Celeb_Gozzip. “If y’all fans of ME stop @ing me in this f***s***.”

In response to Brown’s reaction to having been tagged in the post, one fan pointed out that Chris recently appeared to show his love for Karrueche by commenting on a group of throwback photos of himself and his former girlfriend with a heart emoji, seemingly hinting that there were no hard feelings between himself and Karrueche despite the nature of their split.

The news comes just one week after Chris Brown ignited dating reports with Instagram model Cydney Christine after the duo were spotted at a USC vs. UCLA women’s volleyball game together on September 21.

Rumors of a budding romance between Brown and Christine began last week after fans took to Twitter to gush over Chris’ unexpected attendance at the game before uploading several photos of Brown and Cydney sitting together throughout the duration of the match. While it didn’t take long for the dating rumors to gain momentum on social media, even prompting fans to dig up an old photo of Cydney Christine and Karrueche Tran to suggest that the duo may have been friends in the past, Christine later took to The Shade Room to set the record straight about her rumored romance with Chris Brown.

“Sorry for the confusion. But we’re just friends,” Cydney Christine reportedly wrote in response to the dating claims between her and Brown, as captured in a screengrab by a fan on Instagram. Similarly, Karrueche’s manager, Jacob York, further dispelled rumors suggesting that Christine and Karrueche are close friends by commenting on the post with the message, “This is a fan that took a pic with Karrueche, that’s all.”
