Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Hooked Up Amid Jennifer Aniston Marriage, Says Bodyguard: ‘Karma’ Trends

One of the ongoing mysteries in the world of celebrity couple love triangles has to do with Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt. Some insisted that Brad and Angelina waited until his marriage to Jennifer Aniston had ended to hook up, while others believed that Pitt had cheated on Aniston during their marriage, enjoying a secret affair with Jolie when they were filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Now a bodyguard is stepping forward to recall the details of just what happened when Angelina and Brad were working together on the film that became just as famous for their romance as for its box office success.

The bodyguard, Mark Behar, told Us Weekly that the two were much more than just platonic pals on the set of the film. Recalling what happened when the co-stars were filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith in Los Angeles, Behar says that Angelina and Brad canoodled in their trailers when they weren’t on set. They also exchanged “sexual” notes.

Jolie, now 41, and Pitt, now 52, filmed the popular comedy in 2004. At that time, the actor was married to Jennifer Aniston. Aniston and Brad tied the knot in 2000, but being married didn’t stop him from hooking up with Jolie, according to the bodyguard.

“[Angelina] and Brad were constantly laughing and flirting with each other and acting like two school kids who had the hots for each other.”

Behar described the affair as “so cute,” and when Jolie and Pitt were not together, they found a way to communicate by using the bodyguard to exchange notes that were “sexual in content,” revealed Behar.

“I wasn’t shocked at all when they got married years later,” he added.

“I caught them several times in each other’s trailers making out.”

As for what it was like to work with the couple, Behar described them as “both a pleasure.” Although Angelina was “mostly quiet and kept to herself,” she shared details of her relationship with her father, Jon Voight, also known as an Oscar-winning actor.

“[She talked about] all the love and hate between them,” clarified the bodyguard. “Like most of us have and go through with either or both of our parents.”

It was not until the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith had ended that Brad and Jennifer revealed that their marriage was over. The couple had been married for five years, calling it quits in January 2005.

Three months after the announcement that Aniston and Pitt were no longer a couple, Us released a picture of Brad, Angelina, and her son Maddox on vacation together in Diani Beach, Kenya. Celebrity watchers then turned their attention to Brangelina, with Pitt and Jolie becoming quickly known as romantic partners prior to their marriage in France in August 2014.

As for how Twitter reacted to the breakup of Jolie and Pitt, “karma” and “Team Jen” quickly trended.

Some insiders even claimed that Jennifer herself had used the word “karma” in describing the messy divorce drama of Pitt and Jolie, reported the Daily Mail.

“Yeah, that’s karma for you!” one of the sources quoted Aniston, adding that the actress “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split.”

Another source quoted by the Daily Mail revealed that Jen believed that Pitt’s and Jolie’s breakup was “just a matter of time.”

However, those in her “inner circle” thought that the cause of their divorce would be Angelina abandoning Brad for another person, according to the source.

“Everyone in Jennifer’s inner circle regards Angelina as a crazy master manipulator. But we all presumed the end…would be Angelina leaving Brad for someone else.”

When those photos circulated showing Jolie, Pitt and her son Maddox, who was 3-years-old at the time, on vacation in Africa soon after the end of her marriage, Aniston was “shocked,” she confessed.

“The world was shocked and I was shocked,” she shared.

Prior to the finalization of her divorce, W magazine highlighted a fashion spread displaying Pitt and Jolie as if they were a 1960’s-style married couple with kids.

“There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing,” analyzed Jennifer about her estranged husband at the time. “But it’s not my life. He makes his choices. He can do – whatever. We’re (soon to be) divorced and you can see why.”
