Bethenny Frankel Net Worth: Frankel Went From ‘Bethenny Who’ To Just ‘Bethenny’

Bethenny Frankel is continuing to work hard to build her business and her brand, Skinnygirl, despite dealing with troubles on The Real Housewives of New York. Even though people love her on the show, it is clear that Frankel is putting her business first, and she will do just about anything to make her business a success.

Bethenny sold parts of the cocktails business to Jim Beam for a reported $100 million, which was a figure that Forbes reported and stood by despite arguments that she had not sold it for that much. These days, Bethenny Frankel’s net worth is rumored to be around $25 million, which is much more than the $2,500 per month she was struggling to pay for rent when she joined The Real Housewives of New York.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now being celebrated by fans for her success. Over the past six years or so, Bethenny has gone from being just another business woman in New York to being so successful that people just have to use her first name, and people know exactly who she is.

“Talking work, wellness, balance at #AWNewYork. Thx for having me xo,” Bethenny Frankel revealed on Twitter after speaking at the Advertising Week event in New York alongside Arianna Huffington.

“Can you believe where the last 10 yrs have taken you? From Bethenny who? To BETHENNY… 1 word needed. Amazing. Congrats woman!” one person noted, to which Bethenny Frankel replied, “Awwww thanks.”

Over the past couple of years, Frankel has gone through some hard times, including going through a 4-year long divorce from ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. She’s also faced several lawsuits from people who are hoping to get a piece of her million-dollar fortune. But for Bethenny, it is all about what she has in her life, including her daughter. This week, despite the attention and her speech at Advertising Week, she settled in at home with her daughter, Bryn.

“Sweetest night ever w my peanut. Life begins again. Hotel staycation, swimming, room service, pizza, movie, snugs….,” Bethenny Frankel revealed this week, sharing that she’s staying in with her daughter, Bryn, who is still one of the biggest successes.

Even though Bethenny has found tremendous success with her margarita idea, there are still some of her co-stars who are trying to get a piece of the success. On this past season of the show, Sonja Morgan decided to launch her own Prosecco line with a very similar name to Skinnygirl, and Frankel took it very personally. She didn’t want her hard work to be undermined.

“I really do work like a dog, and it is so challenging running a business and a brand. Most of it isn’t glamorous but more like a grind. It is my mission to help women in business and give them inspiration and guidance but also to not fool them into thinking you go on TV and voila you have a business,” Bethenny Frankel revealed on her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York.

“Sonja has had: an event company, a jewelry line, toaster, nigerian football team, fashion line, and now a Prosecco–none of which have come to fruition. It is laughable but more sad. Women, this is not how it works. This is the problem when being a reality star is your actual job versus having a career the show follows. People create imaginary businesses to stay relevant,” she continued in regards to Sonja’s newest business venture called Tipsy Girl.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s success? Are you surprised that people now know her just by her first name?
