Gigi Hadid, though it is hard to imagine, was a late bloomer when it came to romance. In hindsight, that is usually a good thing as women recount their lives, but at the time, it can be heartbreaking. It can make a girl feel unloved. Was Gigi always as secure emotionally as she seems today?
Zayn Malik’s girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, confided to Dazed that she was among the last ones of her friends to be kissed.
“I wasn’t that young — I think I was, like, 15 or 16. Everyone was younger than me. I was one of the last ones.”
Now, Gigi Hadid has Zayn Malik completely head over heels for her, but back then it must have felt sad. Still, Miss Hadid didn’t just fall for the first guy that came along. She waited for a man who would truly appreciate her, and she certainly has that now. Zayn Malik has said so many times how much he loves and respects Gigi.
Zayn Malik loves Gigi Hadid so much he even loves her little ears. A source close to Zayn recently revealed to Hollywood Life that the handsome musician was just obsessed with Gigi’s ears…though he usually says her mind is what he finds most attractive about her. “Zayn loves her ears! He thinks they are the cutest things ever. He loves that she is this impossibly gorgeous glamazon of a woman with perfect hair and a perfect body, but she has these cute little ears that stick out!”
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik certainly do have a unique relationship. Ears? Wow, hasn’t he noticed that the rest of her is absolutely perfect? Zayn, who sometimes phrases thing oddly, seems to associate Gigi’s ears with her youthful spirit and fun personality.
So Zayn Malik is an ear man. Who would have thought, but seriously a guy has to be completely and totally in love to even notice a girl’s ears. Yet the source went on, explaining exactly what Zayn sees when he looks at Gigi’s ears.
“He thinks they represent who she is as a person so well. In pictures, she projects this unattainably glamorous image, but in real life, she’s just this goofy little girl. Zayn loves that about her! Her ears are just a little goofy, so he loves them,”

Gigi Hadid offered Dazed no surprises when they asked her who she’d want to take with her to a deserted island. Of course, she chose Zayn.
“Does my boyfriend count? I’d take him, yeah.”

“I think the most important thing is for people to just be genuine, and not pretend to be someone that they’re not. Because the people that look up to them want to know that the person they are asking for advice from is genuinely living those things, and knows the right way to guide them.”

One thing Gigi Hadid has been very outspoken about is the appreciation of different body types in modeling. What exactly is the importance of having different body types on the runway?
“Because I think that, more than teaching what body types are correct, it’s important to teach that we are putting models out there who are confident in their own bodies. I think that’s where we should start: teaching models to put out a body image that they are happy and comfortable with so that girls who relate to them know that it’s coming from a good place.”
Gigi Hadid believes women should be comfortable with their own bodies, and approach any changes they feel they need to make without shame. Gigi works with her own body, shaping it as she desires, not how others think it would look best. That is the example all women should follow. It is important for women to love themselves and not feel shame, so it is a model’s duty to model that attitude, as well as the clothes.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have an amazing relationship now, so even though it took a while for Gigi to get her first kiss, Z makes up for it.
