Will Selena Gomez Join Charlie Puth On His ‘We Don’t Talk’ Tour?
Selena Gomez may be on a career hiatus, but could she be featured during Charlie Puth’s tour?
Although Selena Gomez, 24, has yet to return to the spotlight after announcing the end of her own tour last month, Puth recently hinted that she may make a special guest appearance as he continues to travel through North America on his We Don’t Talk Tour.
In June, Puth announced his We Don’t Talk Tour, which was inspired by his hit song with Selena Gomez, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and takes him to cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.

While an appearance by Selena Gomez may seem unlikely in the coming weeks, the tour, which kicked off on September 26, continues on until November 8, and Puth recently spoke to E! News, revealing that she “might” show up eventually.
“Anybody could pop up on tour,” he told the outlet, via Teen Vogue. “[Selena Gomez] might show up, [but] I know she is taking time off right now, so I want her to focus on taking the time off that she needs.”
At the end of August, in the midst of her own tour, the Revival World Tour, Selena Gomez released a statement to People Magazine, revealing that due to her struggles with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, she would be taking some time off. A short while later, Puth addressed Selena Gomez’s decision during an appearance on the ITV talk show Lorraine.
“I think it’s a good idea to take a break from the spotlight,” Puth told the show host, according to a report by Hollywood Life. “Like, for me today, I’m not even going to look at social media. Ten years ago, we didn’t look at all that stuff all the time. You start to realize how observant you are.”
Earlier this year, Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth released their duet, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and in the months that have followed, it has remained at the top of the charts. Not surprisingly, Puth has been thrilled with the outcome, as has his fellow singer, Gomez.
“I think we sent each other a couple of texts like, ‘Hey, can you believe this?!'” he recalled to E! News.

While Selena Gomez has seen tons of success in recent years both with her acting career and her music career, she has also faced crippling side effects from her Lupus diagnosis.
“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez told People Magazine in a statement on August 30. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”
“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support,” she continued. “You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”
Selena Gomez has yet to speak out on the possibility of making an appearance during Puth’s We Don’t Talk Tour and when it comes to her career hiatus, it is unclear when her break will come to an end.
