The viewership that experts believe could top 100 million for all or part of the September 26 debate is likely to witness one of the most unruly and brutal presidential debates ever held, as the Republican nominee Trump has already leveled a lengthy string of wild accusations at Clinton, the Democrat.

Clinton, for her part, has responded with a series of TV and online ads which use Trump’s own statements against him.

A report in Fortune Magazine online Sunday said that not only does the debate have the potential to top 100 million viewers — making it easily the most-watched presidential debate of all time — but it could rise even higher, to more than 114 million, which would make it an even more popular event than the Super Bowl, the championship football game that stands as the most watched program in America on an annual basis.

To find out whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will prevail in the first Presidential Debate, watch a live stream of the hotly anticipated showdown via ABC News Go in the video below.

NBC News will live stream its own coverage of the debate in the following video.

The Washington Post will also offer a Presidential Debate live stream, in this video.

The stakes are massive for both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, with the election appearing to be a nail-biter in the polls.

But though the race has pulled tighter in recent weeks, Clinton comes into the debate with the advantage, while Trump will be forced to play offense because he’s the one who needs to make up ground in the polls.

According to the most recent polling averages of all polls by HuffPo Pollster, Clinton holds a tight but steady lead of 2.1 percentage points — 41.4 percent to 39.3 — when both Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein are included in the polling.

Without Johnson and Stein, Clinton’s lead expands to a full four points, 47.8 to 43.8.

Of the 19 major national head-to-head polls taken in September, Clinton has won 15 of them with margins ranging from one point to seven points, while Trump has won just three — and none since a Fox News poll on September 14 that put him up by one point. One poll came out as a tie.

The candidates take the stage at Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, 6 p.m. Pacific, on Monday, September 26.

Viewers overseas will likely also have strong interest in following the debate via live stream. The start time in the United Kingdom will be 2 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, and throughout Europe at 3 a.m Central European Summer Time.

In Japan, the debate live stream will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, while in Australia, that start time is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Australian Eastern Standard Time, 9 a.m. Western.
