Duggar family announces Michelle is pregnant with number 19

Michelle Duggar, mom on the now obsoletely named 18 Kids and Counting, has announced that she is again pregnant.

The Duggar family, often associated with the Quiverfull movement, have been TLC reality-show mainstays over the past few years for their freakishly large family. Their oldest son Joshua recently married and is expecting his first child in October with wife Anna. While having an uncle who is younger than you may be strange to most modern families, Michelle Duggar says she’s used to it:

“My sister and my mother were having babies at the same time, so I have nieces and nephews older than me,” the mom said.

“It was a great time because we really have close relationships with my nieces and nephews.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say they didn’t actually set out to have so many kids- the conservative Baptists even included birth control pills early on in their family plan. They ditched the pill after Michelle suffered a miscarriage early in their marriage and haven’t looked back
