Angelina Jolie Desperately ‘Wanted To Control Brad Pitt’s Life’ Prior To Divorce Filing

Was Angelina Jolie mad that she couldn’t control every aspect of Brad Pitt’s life?

According to a new report, Angelina was frustrated with the fact that Brad wouldn’t give in to her instructions on how the twosome were going to raise their children, with one source even alleging that the actress wanted to have a say in the movies Pitt signed on for.

Their divorce might have come as a shock to the world, but behind closed doors, sources say that Angelina Jolie and Brad have been having endless problems, which mainly started over the couple’s parenting techniques.

An insider explains that Angelina Jolie is much more carefree and relaxed, while Brad is known to be forceful and strict, particularly since the duo’s neighbors have made endless complaints about the kids allegedly running around the streets late at night and screaming at their nannies, among other things.

For the most part, however, Hollywood Life shares that Angelina’s marriage with Brad Pitt was also deeply affected by the fact that the actress couldn’t control her husband the way she wanted to.

By that, the outlet refers to how the movie star had made several attempts in getting Brad to do things her way, from how she wanted the kids to be raised, to which movies he should be signing on for — and even choosing the friends he was allowed to hang out with.

“Angelina [Jolie] was controlling and that too led to the end of her relationship with Brad [Pitt]. She wanted to control every aspect of Brad’s life and when he ignored her demands, it would drive her mad,” the source reveals.

“Angelina was frustrated she could not control Brad. She tried to control his friends, who he hung out with, and where he went. Most of all, she wanted to control how he parented their kids. She even wanted a say in what roles he took and what projects he chose to put his energy into. She wanted to control his personal life as well as his career.”

The outlet makes it known that, in order to keep the peace in the house, Brad would always agree to Angelina Jolie’s wishes and comfort her when saying that he was going to change his ways and follow her orders more carefully — even if that included the actor having to distance himself from certain friends.

However, it is then stressed that Pitt’s promise never seemed to last, because as soon as Angelina was out of town, Brad was back to his old ways, with no genuine intentions to actually change everything about himself just for the sake of another woman.

“But Brad would agree with her in person and then when she wasn’t around he would do whatever he pleased and when Angelina found out, as she always did, it made her feel frustrated beyond no end.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad have been having issues for months. Their marriage gradually worsened over time, and while their parenting style is believed to have triggered the divorce, certain issues regarding jealousy claims and infidelity rumors certainly contributed to the final decision Jolie made on Monday when she made it known she was divorcing her husband of two years.

The actress has remained rather quiet about her split from Brad since filing the divorce papers, and from what sources have said, it’s probably going to stay like that for the rest of the year — until the divorce is finalized, at least.

It was just three months ago when it was sensationally claimed that Brad and Jennifer Aniston were gearing up to dump their partners in the hopes of reconciling, having realized just how much they still love one another, Calvin Blanco reports.

The outlet quotes In Touch as reporting, “Brad and Angelina are completely in divorce mode and at a point where they barely speak to each other unless it’s about the kids.”

A source added, “There are a lot of hopeless romantics who would love nothing more than to see Brad and Jen back together. It would really be the perfect Hollywood ending.”

Brad and Angelina Jolie have remained quiet about their nasty divorce, only talking through their divorce attorneys as of right now.
