Simon Saran Roasts ‘Teen Mom OG’ Cast: Bad Blood Or Harsh Truths?
Simon Saran and Farrah Abraham have nothing short of a dysfunctional relationship. They are together for a while and then call it quits only to get back together within a short amount of time. Teen Mom OG has been documenting their struggles while airing Abraham’s storyline. It was clear to fans from the beginning that he just wasn’t interested in her long-term, but she is trying to hold on.
Simon Saran has spent time filming with Farrah Abraham and attending the Teen Mom OG reunion shows, which means that he has met the other cast members. The four girls get together at the end of each season to reflect on things and talk about what is currently happening in their lives. Saran has been a part of Abraham’s life for well over a year now, and a big part of who she is comes from the Teen Mom brand.
Social media has a huge presence in the Teen Mom OG fan world. The women and their significant others are often live tweeting during the show. Last Monday night, things definitely got tense when some harsh things were said via Snapchat. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Simon Saran slammed the Teen Mom OG cast every chance he got. From calling Tyler Baltierra’s tears fake to basically slamming all the women for not having “real” jobs, it was brutal. Was this all just shade over bad blood or are some of the things Saran accused the cast of real? Usually, it is a mix of somewhere between the truth and perception, but much of what he accused them of is believable.
The relationship between Simon Saran and Farrah Abraham is still very much up in the air. It is unclear if they are together or apart, although the latter would make more sense after the comments he made on social media. The latest episode showcased Abraham and Saran sitting down with Dr. Jenn from VH1’s Couples Therapy to do a private session. While a lot of what Farrah was unloading was more of a perception issue, there were some things Simon did that were questionable. It all goes back to whether or not the two are going to get married one day because she is pushing it and he is dragging it out. In fact, she even bought her own engagement ring.
As for Simon Saran’s allegations against the Teen Mom OG cast, no one has spoken up to challenge him. It seems that he found the faults they all had and played on them to garner attention from the fans. He has seen the insides of the cast from filming with them, and he obviously keeps up with the banter that clouds social media regarding them. Saran dissed Taylor McKinney and Maci Bookout pretty harshly, especially insinuating that their hygiene is questionable. Of course, Matt Baier was high on the target list for him. Baier was talking about needing an office on the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG, and Saran slammed him for not having a job but needing an office.
Filming for the Teen Mom OG reunion is likely coming up if it hasn’t happened already. It will be interesting to see where Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran stand when the season is over. After a bad time in Hawaii and a failed therapy session, it appears these two just can’t make it work. Saran has always been weird when it comes to Abraham’s daughter, almost like he doesn’t want to be bothered with her. That isn’t going to work if they end up together long-term, and once Abraham accepts that, it will be much easier for her to move on. Simon Saran is a piece of work but never disappoints in the entertainment department.
