Mariah Carey: Nicki Minaj Threatened To Shoot Me

Yesterday, a video surfaced online showing Nicki Minaj screaming at her American Idol co-host Mariah Carey. According to the Glitter star, things got a little more violent when the cameras were turned off.

Barbara Walters told the audience at The View today that Minaj threatened to shoot Carey after the altercation.

Walters said: “Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the bitch.’ Nicki is unpredictable.”

Walters went on to say that Carey has hired extra security to make sure that Nicki doesn’t get violent.

Walters added:

“Mariah says she can’t take a chance and she has hired extra security … Nicki has not apologized, but they have since been at meetings with producers and judges.”

Minaj defended herself on Twitter saying that she never threatened to shoot Mariah Carey.

Minaj said:

“Hey yAll. Lets just say nicki said smthn about a gun. ppl will believe it cuz she’s a black rapper. Lmao. I’ll then hit up Barbara n milk it. Ironically no camera or mic heard the gun comment tho. Lol @ the struggle. Not even the producers believed u. Say no to violence barbz.”
