‘Scream Queens’ Season 2: Every Spoiler We Know Ahead Of The Premiere [Preview]

Fans are in for a big overhaul when the new season of Scream Queens returns to Fox. Ryan Murphy’s horror-comedy, starring Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, and Jamie Lee Curtis, features a different setting, new characters, and plenty of other surprises. What can fans look forward to ahead of the Season 2 premiere?

TV Guide is reporting that the biggest change this season is the new setting. While last year focused on a serial killer making the rounds on the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority, the new season will see the girls transplanted to an eerie hospital.

Cathy Munsch (Curtis) heads up the hospital, which deals with bizarre cases and has a mysterious past. The details of the hospital are unknown, although it will serve as a major plot point this season.

With Wallace University in the past, Scream Queens’ sophomore season will start with a significant time jump.

The Season 1 finale concluded with all the Chanels being placed in a mental institution while Hester seemingly got away with the killings. Now, the series will pick up three years later, and Munsch has recruited the Chanels to work in the hospital.

Apparently, the Chanels took a significant blow to their reputation and wealth in the intervening years, and now they have to work for a living.

“It’s funny seeing them try to hold onto their style; they have no money. They have to work, which is something that’s completely foreign to them. It’s hilarious; it’s fun,” Roberts shared.

As far as Hester is concerned, Michele revealed that her Scream Queens character would be more of an outsider this year.

“She’s changed, but a lot has changed for her,” Michele explained. “When we come back in Season 2, she’s no longer in the sorority and she’s somewhere else.”

Of course, everyone else will eventually discover Hester’s dark secret, and once a murder spree starts at the hospital, she will have a hard time convincing everyone it isn’t her.

“As the murders start to happen, everyone is obviously thinking that it’s Hester again,” Michele stated. “She’s quite adamant that she is not the killer this season, but that she will try and help them figure out who the killer is.”

Meanwhile, fans will also be treated to a few new faces this season.

This includes Taylor Lautner (Twilight), James Earl (Glee), Kirstie Alley, and John Stamos.

Stamos and Lautner are playing doctors in the hospital, with the former being a romantic interest for Chanel Oberlin. Lautner, meanwhile, plays Dr. Cassidy Cascade.

According to Movie News Guide, Stamos’ Dr. Holt is the world’s first recipient of a hand transplant. It isn’t clear whose limb Dr. Holt received, opening the door that he might be the one murdering everyone.

Of course, Scream Queens will also feature a unique wardrobe for the hospital employees. According to Pop Sugar, fans will see the Chanels rocking peculiar, but fashionable nursing gowns this season.

Speaking of hospital attire, Hester will arrive on scene complete with a Hannibal Lecture-like mouth guard.

At the same time, Pop Sugar reports the new season will include the return of Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams), Billie Lourd (Chanel No. 3), Abigail Breslin (Chanel No. 5), Glen Powell (Chad Radwell), and Niecy Nash (Denise Hemphill).

Although it hasn’t been confirmed, there is a possibility that Harry Styles will make a cameo this season.

“I also heard a rumor that he may, I don’t know if this is true, but he said at a press thing recently that he is talking to a male pop star to come for next year… It it’s Harry Styles, everybody better calm down. I love One Direction.”
