Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Engage In A Heated Dispute During A Neighborhood Party [Report]

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner appear to be at odds in recent weeks.

One year after announcing plans to end their marriage, Affleck and Garner are still married and continue to co-parent their three children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4. Unfortunately, their efforts to stay friendly may not be going as planned.

On September 19, Page Six claimed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner appeared to be involved in a tense conversation with one another during a neighborhood block party over the weekend.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are newly reunited in Los Angeles following Affleck’s recent stint in London, where he had been hard at work filming the superhero flick Justice League.

According to a Page Six spy, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s intense chat happened as they attended a carnival-themed block party in their neighborhood and noted that Garner looked particularly upset after taking note of something on her phone.

Although the details of what was found on Garner’s phone have not yet been revealed, the outlet mentioned recent reports regarding Ben Affleck’s possible reunion with his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. While Affleck and Lopez have not yet been seen together, rumors have been swirling in regard to a potential future reconciliation.

On September 17, Gossip Cop shared a photo of the latest cover of In Touch Weekly magazine, which reads, “J.Lo’s Team Begs: Get Back With Ben!”

Inside the magazine, a source said Jennifer Lopez’s “inner circle is urging the newly single star to get back together with Ben Affleck… They think it would benefit her career and bring her back to her glory days when her movies and albums were No. 1.”

“Her camp wants her to be part of a superstar couple again,” the source explained.

For years, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez made joint appearances on the red carpet and were thought of as one of Hollywood’s “It” couples and now, they are said to be back in touch.

“[Jennifer Lopez] isn’t against the idea [as she] still speaks to [Ben Affleck] and has always had a soft spot for him. She’s always believed maybe they’d reconnect one day. Anything can happen!” the source added.

However, in response to the In Touch Weekly report, a source spoke to Gossip Cop and said the story was “stupid” and “ridiculous.”

According to another report, shared by Celeb Dirty Laundry, a source recently spoke out, claiming that despite spending tons of time together, Ben Affleck wasn’t convinced that rekindling his relationship with Garner was the best thing. Meanwhile, she was reportedly left blindsided.

“He thought they were falling into old patterns again. He feels he can date other people and still be a good date. She thought they could get back together, so it totally blindsides her. It’s been difficult for her to deal with,” the source told OK! Magazine.

Celeb Dirty Laundry went on to reveal Garner had allegedly given Ben Affleck an ultimatum: his dating life or his family.

Just last week, OK! Magazine mentioned a report from Heat magazine, which suggested that Ben Affleck was fed up with his wife’s nagging and attempts at controlling his behavior. The report went on to reveal that while Ben Affleck was once desperate to work things out with his actress wife, he has since grown tired of making an effort and wanted to begin seeing other people.
