Taylor Swift Sets Her Sights On Zac Efron Following Tom Hiddleston Split

Following Taylor Swift’s surprising breakup with Tom Hiddleston, she reportedly has her eyes set on winning over another B-list hunk. Who is Swift pursuing now?

The Hollywood Gossip reports that Swift is telling her friends that she wants to hook up with High School Musical’s Zac Efron.

“[Swift] has been talking about him nonstop since her breakup with Tom… She’s always said she feels a strong connection to Zac, but could never act on it because they’ve always been dating other people.”

This isn’t the first time Swift has had feelings for Efron.

Apparently, her infatuation with Simone Biles’ crush started a long time ago.

According to Hollywood Life, Swift’s romance with Efron might happen sooner rather than later.

“She’s reached out to Zac and told him that they should hang out and maybe go to dinner together, and he’s into it,” the source added. “It just hasn’t happened yet because of their schedules.”

Indeed, Swift has been linked to Efron in the past. The two even worked on the movie together, The Lorax, which led to rumors of a growing romance.

Back in 2012, Efron allegedly took Swift on a couple of dates and she hasn’t forgotten about him since.

After all, Efron is the perfect match for Swift.

Not only is he a successful Hollywood star, but he’s not quite as rich and successful as her.

Further, Swift is known for moving on rather quickly after a public split, though not until she’s reminded her fans how much she loves hanging out with friends.

In fact, Perez Hilton is reporting that Swift has been spending almost all of her free time with her squad.

The Grammy winner even shared a few pictures on Instagram with her friend Martha Hunt and cat, Meredith.

In one video, the Victoria Secret model is shown playing with famously stubborn Meredith, which only seemed to make Swift a little jealous.

“They’re taking pictures together now,” Taylor Swift told fans. “She never takes pictures with me. Look at them!”

Not to be outdone in her own home, Swift later posted a video on Twitter of her cat drinking tap water.

“This is the weirdest cat ever, she drinks from the faucet,” Swift told fans.

Swift’s breakup with Hiddleston marks her second split this year. Before Hiddleston, Swift parted ways with Calvin Harris in a particularly emotional turn of events.

While Swift is struggling to recover from her latest heartache, E! Online is reporting that Harris couldn’t be better.

“Adam is single. He is dating a few different women. Nothing has stuck. He is not looking for a relationship at all, just fun times with friends,” an insider told the outlet.

Although Harris has yet to find love after breaking up with Swift, the source added that his life is a lot better without her.

“Adam is in a much better place after the breakup with Taylor,” the insider shared.

What does Harris think about Swift’s short romance with Hiddleston?

“Adam is not surprised that the relationship did not work with Tom and Taylor,” the source continued. “He is just happy to not be in the relationship anymore and realized they were not a good fit in the end, but he wishes her the best!”

Of course, Harris took to social media after the split and slammed Swift, an action he now regrets.

“It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped,” he explained. “I’m not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose.”
