‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: When Will Regina Find Out About The Evil Queen? [Spoilers]

Once Upon A Time Season 6 premieres in a little over one week. Fans can’t wait to find out what is going to happen in Storybrooke. One question that viewers have is when will Regina find out about the Evil Queen? Recently, that question was answered.

OUAT spoilers are ahead. Do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what happens on ABC’s fairy tale drama.

Last season, Regina (Lana Parrilla) tried to separate herself from the Evil Queen. Her intentions were good, but it didn’t happen quite the way Regina thinks it did. The Once Upon A Time character believes the villain is dead. However, she is far from gone and will be causing all kinds of problems in Storybrooke. When will she find out that her alter ego is alive and well?

According to TV Guide, executive producer Edward Kitsis said it will be some time before Regina realizes the Evil Queen survived. There is a theory that the villain will do bad things and everyone will believe it is Regina. With the news that Parrilla’s character won’t know about the Evil Queen right away, that theory is a possibility.

A few months ago, the Inquisitr speculated the only way to stop the Evil Queen on Once Upon A Time might be to make her a part of Regina again. The executive producer recently said there has to be a way to reconcile both sides. The Evil Queen can’t be out there destroying everything. Before the separation, Regina was able to reign in that part of herself. It sounds like putting the villain back where she came from might be a possibility in Season 6.

“What we’re really going to be asking ourselves — and Jekyll and Hyde are the perfect metaphor — is can you really divide the dark side of yourself? Can you really take the things you hate about yourself and throw them away or is that actually a part of who you are? We have to figure out how to reconcile both sides. That’s kind of what we’ll be exploring this year.”

Before Comic-Con 2016, a popular OUAT theory was that Regina would become too soft without her alter ego, who is pure evil. However, it was explained that Lana Parrilla’s character was not cut in half like an apple. Everyone has several parts of themselves that make them unique and Regina took one part out. It doesn’t change who she is. On Parrilla’s official Facebook page, the actress teased that Regina will still be sassy and full of sarcasm. It was also hinted that even though the Evil Queen is 100 percent wickedness, Regina isn’t all good. She is still the same Regina that viewers know and love.

Lana Parrilla told TVLine there might be multiple villains in Once Upon A Time. Some of them will be new faces and others will be familiar to viewers.

“In Season 6, I think we are going to see some new villains, and some old villains are going to resurface and surprise us in ways that we weren’t expecting.”

Besides the Evil Queen, who else can Once Upon A Time fans expect? Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) is one of them. In a promo clip, Zelena (Rebecca Mader) was walking with the Evil Queen. Will she turn back to her old ways?

There will also be a lot of characters from the Land Of Untold Stories that arrive in Storybrooke. However, are they all good or could a few of them be considered evil? If Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) and Princess Jasmine (Karen David) are appearing, then Jafar (Oded Fehr) might also show up. For certain he is in a flashback in Season 6, but it isn’t known if he will appear in any other scenes. Let’s not forget that a lot of old characters are coming back. It is possible not all of them will have good intentions.
