Taylor Swift’s New Album: Everything You Need To Know And Why It Won’t Disappoint

Ever since Gigi Hadid confirmed at New York Fashion Week that Taylor Swift is working on her next album, fans have been wondering what it will be about. In fact, Taylor’s fans are so desperate for new music that they’re hoping one of her new singles leaked onto the internet.

Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, just ended their relationship earlier this month, but it looks like new breakup music from the singer is already on the way. A video has surfaced on social media from Kelsea Ballerini’s Snapchat account that appears to include a snippet of Swift’s new music, reports Capital FM. Check out the tweet in question below.

In the background, a voice, which sounds a lot like Swift, is heard singing, “We didn’t know it, thought we could grow it. Beautiful for a moment, we were roses,” as cited by MTV News.

To some, it sounds like she’s going back to the sound of her 2012 album, Red. However, it’s unclear whether Swift’s new song is about Tom Hiddleston or Calvin Harris since she just split with both men in the span of the summer.

Ballerini had to take to social media to shoot down those rumors. She not-so-subtly liked a fan account that tweeted, “In clarification to prior tweets, Kelsea is in the studio recording her second album. These recording sessions had nothing, nor will they have anything to do with Taylor Swift.”

Kelsea Ballerini is not the only rumored collaborator on Swift’s new album. There have been rumors swirling about a possible Kesha and Taylor Swift collaboration, reports Digital Spy. Kesha ignited the rumors earlier this week when she teased a “f*** off” anthem on Instagram. Still, a possible collaboration between Swift and Ballerini has not been officially confirmed nor denied by management.

“Making a F*** OFF song with a casual Grammy award winning secret person,” she wrote in the explicit caption. “I got a good feeling about this one.”

Fans assumed Swift was the one she was talking about since she has won her share of Grammys. However, Swift isn’t the only Grammy award-winning pop star in the industry. She also used 13 different emojis, which also caught fans off-guard. Swift’s lucky number is 13, reports Us Weekly. In addition, Swift has invited Kesha to her Fourth of July bash and has donated $250,000 after she lost her lawsuit against Dr. Luke and Sony, reports Hollywood Life.

Earlier on this week, Swift’s friend Gigi Hadid confirmed in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight that Swift is “starting to go back to work in the studio.” It seems like Swift is hard at work writing new songs inspired by her failed relationships.

“She’s obviously a great friend, and you know, she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that.”

Swift was seen cheering on the 21-year-old model during the Tommy Hilfiger show. She even didn’t mind when Calvin Harris’ track “This Is What You Came For” (featuring Rihanna) blared on the speakers. At one point, Swift, who co-wrote the song, filmed herself singing along to the summer smash hit.

Martha Hunt also confirmed that Swift is working on new music. The two have been hanging out a lot together lately.

Hunt coyly said to E! Online, “You won’t be disappointed, that’s all I’m gonna say.”

Swift sure has a lot more material to write about this time. Fans are wondering if she will drop a double album about both her relationships. She also has gone through some public drama with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over the rapper’s “Famous” lyric along with her ongoing feud with Katy Perry. Insiders confirmed to Hollywood Life that Swift has been working like crazy on her new album.

“Taylor is handling things well and she is working on music and writing lyrics down all the time especially since she has been involved in so many recent high profile news stories with Tom Hiddleston or Kanye West and even the Super Bowl speculation. She has a lot of material to work off.”

Swift has been on her extended hiatus since wrapping up her “1989 World Tour” back in December. Now, Swift hopes to release her new album and hit the road again.

However, her new album is “still a work in progress because when she puts something out she wants to fully support it with a tour and television appearances,” the source added. “She is enjoying a little break so there is still some time for all of that.”

And if Swift’s Instagram page is any indicator, it looks like she’s itching to write some new music.
