Is Jennifer Lopez Dating Calvin Harris? Has The Star Moved On From Smart So Soon?

Jennifer Lopez has been making headlines as of late, not only for her breakup with on again-off again boyfriend Casper Smart, but also in regards to another ex, Ben Affleck, and a possible new love interest. This week Lopez and Affleck have made headlines for reportedly reconnecting in the midst of a high-profile separation Affleck is experiencing with estranged wife Jennifer Garner. Ben and JLo were an A-list couple known as “Bennifer,” and came close to taking a walk down the aisle before calling it quits, and have reportedly been in contact. Whether there is truly anything to the supposed interactions remains to be known.

However, an even more interesting dating rumor involving Lopez includes an apparent romance between her and Taylor Swift’s ex, DJ Calvin Harris. The Mirror shares reports that the DJ and triple threat entertainer are taking their professional life to a personal level and have begun a romance.

“Calvin Harris and Jennifer Lopez have reportedly struck up a secret romance. While Calvin has been single since he split with Taylor Swift earlier this year, Jennifer only broke up with her long-term boyfriend Casper Smart a few weeks ago. While the pair are likely working on music together, they’ve now been hit with claims that they’re trying to spend more time with each other.”

A source shared that “Calvin and Jennifer are very careful to not be seen together.”

The supposed source went on to share that although it’s still early in the romance, the pair seems to have chemistry.

“It’s very early days and they’re keeping things on the down-low. They’ve become really close. There’s epic chemistry between them.”

As stated, reports that Jen is moving forward with a new romance come following a split from her boyfriend of five years, Casper Smart. The former couple reportedly left things on good terms and the decision was ultimately made by Lopez. An insider shares the reality between the former couple.

“They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable.”

Lopez first got together with Smart back in 2011 when he was her back up dancer on her tour at the time. The two dated following Jen’s divorce from Marc Anthony, with whom Lopez shares 8-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

Although the breakup from Smart is all verified, Gossip Cop has once again done their duty as rumor police and have debunked the recent claim that Jen and Calvin have begun a romance since Casper and Jen ending things. The publication notes that the video of Jen and Calvin which has sparked this rumor was actually recorded when both musicians had significant others and that following the recording of it, the pair left one another to leave with their partners.

“Lopez and Harris hung out at her birthday, a video was posted on Instagram, then they each split with their significant others, so why not link them together now? The problem, though, is that it’s just not an accurate conclusion. Gossip Cop is exclusively told by a source close to Lopez that the dating claim is ‘false.'”

Lopez’s birthday was some time ago and that night even stirred up rumors shortly after when claims were made that Lopez was flirting with her ex of over a decade ago, Sean Combs, which was said to have fueled anger and arguments between Lopez and her then-boyfriend Casper. As expected, those claims were also found out to be lies and all was peaceful between the now exes and Jen. So this latest claim is clearly just as false, as likely is the rumor of Ben and JLo rekindling their past romance. The star sure is at the center of some pretty juicy stories lately.
