First Look At Hallmark Channel’s 2016 Christmas Schedule Which Includes 22 Awesome New Holiday Movies
Some people are not overly fond of how the holidays seem to bleed into one another with one being promoted before the next one even arrives. There’s really nothing that says you can’t look forward to and prepare for a holiday further down the line while enjoying what’s currently going on. That is why the Hallmark Channel has decided to give Christmas fans a sneak peek at their holiday movies right in the middle of Halloween season.
The Hallmark Channel is wasting no time in getting some people psyched up for the holiday season, and they don’t necessarily mean Halloween. While they’re not against everyone celebrating with pumpkins, witches, and ghosts, they want others to look ahead to trees, wreaths, and presents.
Hallmark put a great preview of their 2016 holiday movies on their official website, and it includes 22 films they’re getting ready for Christmas. There will be some old favorites, but also plenty of new films with familiar holiday movie faces such as Lacey Chabert, Alicia Witt, and Lori Loughlin.

This year, Hallmark is really bringing about the heavy hitters and looking to become one of the ideal stops when people are channel-surfing during the Christmas season. Freeform, formerly known as ABC Family, has already said that the format and name change won’t stop them from bringing the “25 Days of Christmas” again this year.
They have always been one of the major go-to networks for Christmas/holiday programming, but Hallmark is making a huge name for themselves.

Entertainment Weekly also pointed out that Hallmark’s sister channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, will actually start things before Halloween. On Oct. 28, their “The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas” will begin to help everyone get ready.
So, Hallmark is giving a preparatory warning right now about their preparatory Christmas movie marathon before its two months of Christmas movies. Sounds festive.
When it comes to the Christmas season, it’s hard to find a network that can compete with Freeform (formerly ABC Family) with its holiday programming. The Hallmark Channel has certainly been getting better each and every year and 2016 is no exception. With these new movies and old favorites starring Lacey Chabert, Lori Loughlin, Jaime King, and more, Christmas is already shaping up to be quite jolly long before Halloween.
