Keira Knightley Insists She Is Not Going Bald, And Explains Why Her Wedding Dress Is Now Slightly Pink

Keira Knightley is not going bald, according to the Independent. The 31-year-old Pride & Prejudice actress has been receiving quite a few products to treat female baldness lately from fans thinking she’s going bald.

But those rumors appear to be false, and Keira Knightley herself has denied that she is wearing wigs in her everyday life. The stories originated from the actress’s recent interview, in which she said she had to use wigs for her roles because the hair dye was making her hair fall out.

And her fans jumped to the conclusion that Keira Knightley was going bald and had to resort to wigs in her everyday life. Perhaps the Pirates of the Caribbean actress would react to the rumors faster if she had a social media presence, but it took her several weeks to realize the reason why she has been receiving anti-baldness products in her mail.

The revelation came when Keira Knightley was interviewed by one of the Cut‘s journalists, who asked the actress how she was dealing with her severe hair loss. And that’s when Knightley, who is married to James Righton, opened up about what has been in her mail lately.

“Wait. I have received a big box of things for female baldness, and I had no idea what that was about.”

Keira Knightley also said that she now has tons of those boxes filled with products to treat hair loss, adding that at some point she started wondering if people knew something she didn’t and if she is going bald without actually seeing it.

“I wear wigs for films. Which is a great thing and has saved my hair, because when you are on a film set and they are doing your hair everyday and dying it a million different colors, it does tend to fall out.”

In fact, Keira Knightley added that she has been experiencing the exact opposite of going bald, as her pregnancy brought her “ten times more” hair than she already had.

Keira Knightley may regret her ambiguous interview about wigs and hair loss, but what she doesn’t regret is her partnership with Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, according to Vanity Fair. The 31-year-old actress opened up about her collaboration with the brand at the Chanel Fine Jewelry dinner hosted at Bergdorf Goodman in her honor.

Having worked with Chanel and Lagerfeld for over nine years now, Keira Knightley says she feels “incredibly lucky” and has an enormous amount of gratitude that originated from her partnership with the fashion guru.

Keira Knightley is no stranger to Chanel, as in addition to being its spokesmodel, the actress also wore a Chanel dress on her wedding to Righton in 2013. And that wedding dress made headlines three years ago, as one of the guests stained it with red wine.

But Keira Knightley assures her fans that she had found a perfect solution back then: she went to a dry cleaner, and the stain was removed. However, the problem is that the dress is now a little pinker than it was at the start.

But Keira Knightley stays optimistic nonetheless, saying that an alcohol stain is always a sign of a good wedding. In fact, the Pirates of the Caribbean star added that she wore that dress several times after the wedding.

Keira Knightley also shared the gift that Chanel’s staff presented to her daughter Edie, who was born last year. It was Gary, a pink teddy bear. And the actress is confident that Edie will always have Gary by her side.

“Gary the pink teddy bear. She will always have Gary.”
