NFL Week 1 was an interesting one for those who play fantasy football. Week 2 should be more of the same. As fantasy football owners who enter this week down 0-1 begin to scramble, looking for ways to get their first victory, expect more players to emerge. Week 1 did produce a few unexpected fantasy football stars. Will the NFL’s second week produce the same results?
Many of the usual suspects including, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Antonio Brown performed the way their fantasy football owners had hoped. Then there were others who underwhelmed. If Adrian Peterson, Kirk Cousins, or Brandon Marshall is on your fantasy football team you want them to be better.
Fantasy football aside for a moment, there is a game tonight between two AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. According to Yahoo Sports , both teams want to avoid 0-2 starts.
Offensively, the Bills looked abysmal. Bills’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman took the heat.
“I will definitely take the blame myself. I think I can do a better job putting us in positions to be successful. We weren’t able to get into a rhythm and take those shots when we wanted to. We got a little bit disjointed. We have to stay on the field. When we do that, we’re pretty darn good.”
The Jets did not have many struggles moving the football. Their loss came on a missed field goal late in their game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jets’ Brandon Marshall — Redemption Comes Thursday … Bring On the Bills! (VIDEO) https://t.co/1E8XIwE6LF

One Jets’ player that underperformed was Brandon Marshall. There is no doubt he is looking to bounce back.
If you have any players on the Bills and Jets, there are plenty of reasons to play each one of them on your fantasy team.
Because it is Week 2, Marshall is one of those players can who get back to business. Brandon Marshall is a desirable play depending on your fantasy football platform.
If you are playing in a points per reception league, better known as PPR, Marshall is a smart play. There is no doubt that he will do better than three catches and 32 yards. Marshall is currently worth $7,600 in FanDuel. That is a good bargain which could help fantasy football players build an early lead.
Look for Marshall to redeem himself , as he told the cameras for TMZ , to the tune of six catches, 95 yards, and a touchdown.
Staying with FanDuel and DraftKings fantasy football players, two affordable running backs are available in LeSean McCoy and Matt Forte.
In FanDuel and DraftKings, both McCoy and Forte can be had for under $7,000. That leaves more than enough available cap room to add one of the top receivers like Antonio Brown.
After sifting through everyone else, you will find the players to avoid in fantasy football for NFL Week 2.
Bills’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor will have a rough go of it against the Jets’ defense. While Taylor will do better than the 111 yards he threw for in Week 1, this is not the week for him to bounce back. The only way for Tyrod Taylor to do anything great in fantasy football on a short week is to get some help from his receivers.
The only Bills’ receiver worth having on your fantasy football team is Sammy Watkins. There is a boom or bust element to Watkins. If you have him in your fantasy football league he is usually too good to sit. The big question is, will he play against the Jets?
According to Pro Football Talk , Watkins is listed as questionable for the game against the Jets. He could play or the Bills could decide to save him for another game. That is why if you have him on your fantasy football team you may want to stay away.
What should you do if you want an inexpensive quarterback for the daily fantasy football leagues?
The Bills versus Jets does not offer the type of value that could propel you to victory in regards to quarterbacks. Ryan Fitzpatrick is usually a solid, albeit sneaky play, but there are better options for the Sunday games including Josh McCown and Jameis Winston.
Forget that Winston is playing against a stout Arizona Cardinals’ defense. He has proven to have a knack for making plays and he is quietly becoming a must-play. Also, Carson Wentz plays against a Chicago Bears team that has not fully gelled yet on Monday night.
Expect a couple of players to have bounce back weeks as far as fantasy football numbers are concerned. There are three players in tonight’s game that should warrant your attention.
