Kim Kardashian ‘Concerned’ About Khloe Kardashian Dating Tristan Thompson [Report]

Khloe Kardashian is rumored to be dating basketball star Tristan Thompson and her friends and family, allegedly including big sister Kim Kardashian, are worried that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star could be slipping back into old patterns.

While Khloe has stayed pretty tight-lipped as the dating rumors swirled, new reports are claiming that Khloe’s nearest and dearest are worried that she can’t seem to get out of the habit of dating the same type of guys who just aren’t good for her.

“Tristan is on the road more often than not and that gets in the way of the relationship, as Khloe knows well from dating so many basketball players,” a source recently told OK! Magazine of Kardashian, who has dated some basketball players in the past, including James Harden and her estranged former husband, Lamar Odom.

“She can’t seem to break the pattern,” the Kardashian source continued of the reality star’s attraction to ball players amid rumors she and Thompson are officially dating. “Her friends are trying to help Khloe stop making the same mistakes, but she won’t listen to them.”

Khloe is yet to respond to reports claiming that her friends are worried Tristan could end up treating her just as poorly as Lamar and James, who the star has previously admitted both cheated on her, though the site claimed that Kardashian’s dating life with Thompson could be more a means of distraction to keep her attention off her impending divorce.

“She just wants to be in love and forget about Lamar, but she keeps looking in the wrong place,” the site admitted of Kardashian as the dating reports continue to swirl around her and Thompson, noting that Kardashian’s friends and family are hoping that her dating Tristan is “just a short-term fix” amid the latest Lamar drama.

“[Khloe’s] trying to get over [Lamar] again. But she’s not ready to change her dating patterns yet,” the source said.

Reports claiming that Khloe Kardashian’s inner circle are “concerned” about her dating Tristan Thompson come just weeks after it was reported that the reality star’s sister, Kim Kardashian, has been urging her to stay away from athletes completely after Khloe was briefly linked to football player Odell Beckham Jr. earlier this year.

“Kim is giving Khloe a warning, stay away from athletes!” an insider close to the Kardashian clan alleged to Hollywood Life back in May, claiming that Kim made it pretty clear to her younger sister before she began dating Tristan that she thinks it would be a good idea for her to steer clear of any and all athletes.

“Kim is trying to encourage Khloe to meet a nice guy who does not play ball across the country where groupies throw themselves at them in every town they stop,” the site’s source said. “Kim has seen Khloe go through too many failed relationships with athletes and she doesn’t want Khloe to get hurt again.”

But it sounds like it could already be too late for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star to take Kim’s advice, as a source recently revealed to the site that Khloe is falling fast for Tristan after she and Thompson were first spotted together last month.

The site claimed earlier this week that Khloe is actually starting to get serious feelings for Tristan, despite the two dating so briefly, and is reportedly already “head over heels” for her new boyfriend but isn’t quite ready to say the ‘L’ word just yet.

“Khloe is head over heels in ‘like’ with Tristan. She’s already telling her close friends and family that he could be the one,” a source alleged of Kardashian’s feelings for Thompson. “She really wasn’t expecting to have such strong feelings for Tristan in such a short amount of time.”
