Dr. Drew Pinsky ‘Terrified’ Of Clinton Backlash, Will No Longer Address Hillary’s Health
Dr. Drew Pinsky has been a highly respected physician and radio personality dating back to the 1990s with his turn alongside Adam Carolla on Loveline (later an MTV late-night talk show).
The two have remained close and still host a daily call-in podcast together.
While popularity has receded from the ’90s pinnacle, Dr. Drew and Adam maintain a loyal fanbase. It’s just rare that one of them ends up dominating national headlines.
That changed recently, however, when Pinsky took on the topic of Hillary Clinton’s health. Dr. Drew essentially said he was “gravely concerned” about the cocktail of medications Hillary was on as well as her overall health.
Not long after that, HLN canceled his series though they claim rebranding was the cause and the timing was just a coincidence.

Nevertheless, Dr. Drew isn’t buying it, and on the latest episode of the Adam Carolla Podcast, his old friend and colleague ratted him out as to the real reason, essentially claiming that Pinsky is now “terrified” of speaking out since he has some projects in motion.
In fact, Carolla said that it wasn’t just Hillary Dr. Drew didn’t wish to talk about, but pneumonia in general.
As readers may remember, on Sept. 11, the Democratic frontrunner was forced to leave a 9/11 Memorial after her campaign staff said she became “overheated.”
Later in the day, it was revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia.
Since then, rumors have swirled that Clinton is in worse health than she’s claiming and that she even may have used a body double to quell fears about her stability. She has also received criticism from some on the right for hugging a child in a photo-op to show she’s okay pre-pneumonia reveal.
While much of this would seem to vindicate Dr. Drew and his position regarding Clinton’s health, he was still too nervous about the situation to say anything more than he already has, a fact that was not lost on Carolla.
Adam pointed out that Dr. Drew “has been in this town (Hollywood) for years, and whether the perception is real or he’s just being paranoid,” he refused to talk about Clinton or pneumonia, period.

Stories have been circulating in the past few days that CNN tried to get Dr. Drew to walk back his comments regarding Hillary’s health.
The possibility that Pinsky could soon be on the verge of losing a couple of deals, as Carolla indicated on Tuesday, makes his refusal to speak further on the matter a wise one.
But it also raises further questions about a possible Clinton administration.
While Hillary has largely been seen as the “experienced” and “professional” candidate against Donald Trump, a witch-hunt, or the perception of a witch-hunt, against one of America’s most respected medical personalities, could seem more 1984 to voters heading into November.
The Obama administration has also faced similar scrutiny for their prosecution of whistleblowers and their leaning on the press to reveal sources, which was revealed by the Associated Press shortly after Obama took office for his second term.
But what do you think about it, readers?
Are fears such as the one Carolla shared regarding Dr. Drew legitimate or overblown? And if they are legitimate, what do you think it would mean about a Hillary Clinton administration, especially with regard to things like the protection of free speech? Sound off in the comments section below.
