‘Big Brother 18’ Recap: Spoilers From September 13 Episode, ‘BB18’ House Shaken Up, New HOH Crowned
This September 13 Big Brother 18 recap comes from the Tuesday night episode. The BB18 house feeds have been down for nearly 36 hours, with a lot taking place that was getting taped by producers. Much of that footage was prepped for the Tuesday show, but producers were also going to hold back footage for the upcoming Wednesday night installment. This particular episode of the show was aired by CBS on Tuesday, September 13, at 8 p.m. PT/ET.
During the “previously on Big Brother” segment of the show, viewers were shown how Corey Brooks had won the latest endurance competition to become the Head of Household. Corey and Nicole Franzel then decided that it was time to turn against Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo, as it seemed easier to work with James Huling moving forward. Paul and Victor were put on the block at the nomination ceremony, where the September 13 episode picked up.

This is the portion of the Big Brother 18 recap where host Julie Chen acts like the new episode is “live” for the fans. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it was taped on Monday night (Sept. 12) as part of the new schedule. Julie Chen called the houseguests to the BB18 living room and let them know that it was going to be a “surprise eviction episode” of the show. They didn’t appear very shocked, as most of them likely figured out it was coming based on how many days remain before the September 21 season finale.
Past footage was shown that immediately followed the nomination ceremony, where Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo had Diary Room segments. They each took shots at Corey Brooks, with Paul noting that they were only targeted because they are the best players this season. A bit later, the four met in the HOH room, with Victor lashing out and Paul staying quiet in order to keep the target off himself. It was very clear that Victor was going to remain the primary target for eviction and that only the Power of Veto could save him from joining the BB18 jury (again).

The Veto competition is covered in the next portion of this September 13 Big Brother 18 recap. This was the comic book challenge, where the houseguests take a zip line past a wall of comics created about each of the contestants this season. The houseguests then had to match up the comics in the correct order on a board, with a lot of fake comics thrown into the mix in order to trip them up. The five competitors each got a kick out of their personal comic, but not everyone was smiling at the end of the competition. Nicole Franzel finished in the quickest time to win the Week 12 Power of Veto.
With complete control over the BB18 house again, Corey Brooks and Nicole Franzel got to decide whether to keep the nominations the same or go after James Huling. Nicole declined to use the power at the Veto ceremony, meaning that either Paul Abrahamian or Victor Arroyo would soon become the seventh member of the BB18 jury. At the eviction ceremony, James and Nicole each voted to evict Victor, sending him out of the house for the third time this summer. This time, Victor has no chance at returning to the game.

Former Big Brother winner Derrick Levasseur met with host Julie Chen during the episode, talking about how the season had progressed and what he thought about so many duos making it to the end. He noted that the progression of Big Brother 18 was a lot different than in past seasons, but that nobody can ever predict how it is going to go until the events play out. Having played with Nicole during his season, he also gave his thoughts on how she laid low for most of the summer and how he thinks that she will now win the $500,000 prize.

The latest Head of Household competition was played between Paul Abrahamian, Nicole Franzel, and James Huling to close out the episode. It was an extremely important one, as it would guarantee the winner a spot in the final three and help dictate who would make it to that final episode with them. It was a quiz competition where the houseguests had to guess what people had stated during previous eviction speeches. Paul won the challenge, becoming the final four HOH and gaining the ability to name two people for eviction.
That brings an end to the September 13 Big Brother 18 recap, but a previous report by the Inquisitr covers information about Big Brother: Over The Top for fans interested in learning more information.
