Drake & Rihanna: Chris Brown Doesn’t Believe They’re Dating
Chris Brown allegedly isn’t convinced that Drake and Rihanna are dating and getting serious.
According to reports, Brown is skeptical amid the slew of recent reports claiming that Drake and Rihanna are officially dating again and supposedly doesn’t believe that the pop star loves the rapper the same way he loves her.
“[Chris] knows [Rihanna] and he knows that she is not in love with him like the way he is with her,” a source told Urban Islandz of how Brown really feels about the recent Drake and Rihanna dating rumors.
“Drake is trying hard to get Rihanna to love him,” the insider continued, “but you can’t force love and she will always love Chris and there is no doubt about that.”
The site’s insider then went on to reveal that despite Browns’ scepticism when it comes to Rihanna’s dating life with Drake, the “Hotline Bling” rapper is ready to get serious and settle down.
“[Drake] sees Rihanna as his future wife he wants it all,” the source confirmed of how Drake really feels about Rihanna after his many public gushes, “but he also realized that he can’t rush things with her because that might push her away.”
Drake, Rihanna, and Chris Brown are all yet to officially comment on the latest reports, though this isn’t the first time it’s been reported that Brown has made it known that he’s not exactly supporting Rihanna’s relationship with the rapper, who he’s alleged to be locked in a nasty feud with.
Hollywood Life previously reported that Chris was seriously sceptical of Drake and Rihanna’s relationship earlier this year, even going as far as to claim that Brown believes the “This Is What You Came For” singer is his “soulmate” and knows that he and Rihanna will end up together some day, despite Chris’s history of domestic violence.
“Chris doesn’t believe for a second that his soulmate would tie the knot with her long-term side piece,” a source close to Brown told the site, claiming that although Drake is allegedly ready to settle down with Rihanna and possibly even propose to the singer that Chris “ain’t buying that for a minute.”
Chris and Drake’s drama and rumored feud over Rihanna also appeared to spill over onto Instagram earlier this month after fans were quick to accuse both musicians of a feud and slyly dissing each other on the social media site while honoring Lil Wayne.
Brown was first to be accused of throwing some serious shade Drake’s way after Hollywood Life reported that Brown appeared to allude to Drake as being a “fake a** rapper” in a now deleted caption.
“Supported my favorite rapper last night IN NEW ORLEANS BIG BRO FOR LIFE,” Chris captioned a snap on the social media site. “If it wasn’t for [Lil Wayne] a lot of these fake a** rappers wouldn’t get an opportunity,” Brown wrote, appearing to refer to Drake.
Drake than appeared to hit back with an Instagram message of his own, in which Hollywood Life speculated he called Chris a “weirdo.”
“The boss [Lil Wayne],” Drake wrote on Instagram. “We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don’t know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor.”
Though neither Drake nor Brown explicitly referenced each other in the posts, fans were quick to accuse the two of slamming each other amid rumors of a feud until Chris appeared to deny that he slammed Drake on the social media site.
“Y’all comments be funny. Making an issue outta nothing,” Brown wrote in reply, appearing to allude to reports suggesting he and Drake were locked in a nasty feud over Rihanna. “Everybody know I don’t have any issues @ing someone I had an issue wit. My post was for hip-hop. Stay classy.”
