Jennifer Lopez And Jason Statham’s ‘Parker’ Gets A Poster [Photo]

Jennifer Lopez and action star Jason Statham have teamed up for director Taylor Hackford’s Parker, a motion picture that’s presently scheduled to hit theaters next year. According to Cinema Blend, the film also features Nick Nolte, Clifton Collins Jr., and No Ordinary Family alum Michael Chiklis as Melander, the movie’s villain.

In order to prepare the world for the coming of Parker, the promotional team behind the upcoming motion picture have released a brand new teaser poster online. Although the artwork doesn’t tell you much about the flick itself — all you get is Jason Statham holding a shotgun with Jennifer Lopez’s face superimposed over his chest — at least fans of the film’s stars will have something new to gawk at.

“When Parker turns down a job offer to pull off a jewel heist, he narrowly escapes with his life. He then teams up with a female real estate agent who is familiar with the local town and has nothing to lose to find the target of the heist so they can steal the loot for themselves.”

Parker will serve as Jennifer Lopez’s return to live action cinema since the ill-received comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which stars Elizabeth Banks and Cameron Diaz. Lopez also did some voice work for the latest installment in the popular animated Ice Age franchise.

Jason Statham, meanwhile, seemingly never stops working. In addition to his turn in Parker, the prolific actor is attached to director Gary Fleder’s Homefront, which was written by Expendables pal Sylvester Stallone. Statham has also signed on for Steven Knight’s action thriller Hummingbird, which is currently slated to arrive in theaters on March 15.
