Caroline Manzo Tells Teresa Giudice To Grow Up And Forgive Kathy Wakile And Rosie Pierri
If Caroline Manzo were actually on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers would likely see her siding with Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri when it comes to their drama with their cousin Teresa Giudice. During Caroline’s appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live on Sunday night, Caroline made it clear that she thinks that it’s Teresa who’s in the wrong for not wanting a relationship with Kathy and Rosie. Caroline even said that it’s time for Teresa to grow up and forgive rather than holding on to grudges.
Andy asked Caroline if she has an opinion on the cousins’ feud. Caroline did not hesitate to voice her support for Kathy and Rosie. Caroline said that it’s time for Teresa to grow up and forgive Kathy and Rosie for the things they’ve said in the past.
“Yeah. Kathy’s good people. Rosie’s good people. And they’re doing it from their heart. So I would like Teresa to open up her heart and just understand that people make mistakes and say bad things that they don’t mean sometimes and I think it’s time she grows up a bit and accept them back.”
Siggy Flicker, who currently stars on Real Housewives alongside Teresa and was the other guest on Andy’s talk show last night, agreed with Caroline that Kathy and Rosie are great people. Siggy said that Teresa’s even better and that Kathy and Rosie should back off instead of pushing for a relationship. Siggy pointed out that the drama between Teresa and Kathy and Rosie stems from drama that goes a generation back, between Teresa’s father and Kathy and Rosie’s mother, and so it’s complicated.
“I think Kathy’s great, Rosie’s great but I, I think Teresa’s even better, I’m sorry. Sometimes, when it has to do, what people don’t understand is that Rosie and Kathy’s mother and Teresa’s father are brother and sister, and so it starts there. There’s bitterness there. So it’s generations upon generations that are not getting along. And I think that right now if Teresa says, ‘I don’t want to have a relationship with you,” you should say, ‘Fine,’ and back off.”
When Caroline Manzo chimed in to ask if Teresa’s keeping Kathy and Rosie away for the right reason, Siggy Flicker said that no matter whether the reason is right or wrong, Kathy and Rosie just have to respect Teresa’s wish right now.
“Well listen, sometimes, you know, not everybody needs to have the right reason and I’m sure we’re gonna find out sooner or later about the reasons why she doesn’t want a relationship with them, but Kathy and Rosie aren’t desperate. I mean they want their family back but you know what, they should step back, which they are, and give Teresa her space right now, she’s been through hell and back.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Melissa Gorga, who is married to Kathy and Rosie’s other cousin, Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga, said during her Watch What Happens Live appearance in July that the cousins’ drama “runs through the veins of the family” and that Teresa is bothered by some of the things that have been said about her.
On Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri, who are “friends” of the housewives this season, surprised Teresa Giudice at her book signing event. Both Kathy and Rosie told Teresa that they want to meet up in an attempt to work out their issues and reconcile. Teresa, visibly uncomfortable, initially rejected Kathy and Rosie’s request, saying that her time was precious and that she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her husband, Joe Giudice, and children. Kathy said that everyone’s time was precious, to which Teresa said that her time was more precious given her situation. “Of course, I don’t deny that, at all, at all,” Kathy conceded.

In a confessional interview, Teresa said that Rosie and Kathy never reached out to her when she was in prison. She also said that they’d spoken ill of her in the past.
“My cousins never reached out to me while I was away. I mean they’ve said nasty things about me. Sorry if I’m not dying to go out to lunch with family members that stab me in the back.”
Flashback footage was shown of Kathy and Rosie’s mother saying, in a previous season in regards to Teresa’s prison sentence, that when you don’t do the right thing, it always catches up to you.
At the book signing, Rosie continued to plead with Teresa for just an hour of her time and said that she wants the close relationship that they used to have. Teresa told Rosie that she’d be there for Rosie, to which Kathy said that Teresa needs to allow people to be there for her as well. Rosie said in her confessional interview that she wants “all good things” for Teresa.
After they left Teresa to continue on with her fans at the book signing, Rosie told Joe Giudice that she misses him and that she was hurt over not being invited to his and Teresa’s New Year’s Eve party. Rosie then apologized to Joe for her rant, during which she yelled that she was going to no longer care about Joe and that he can go “f**k” himself, at Jacqueline Laurita’s house on New Year’s Eve upon learning that Joe and Teresa were having their own party. Rosie said that she was drunk and being a douche. “It’s all right. Sometimes you say stupid things,” Joe replied. After Rosie told Joe that she loves and cares about him, Joe turned around, asked if the book signing was over and left. When Jacqueline’s husband, Chris Laurita, asked Rosie if she was okay, she admitted that she wasn’t.

Will viewers actually see Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri reconcile with their cousin Teresa Giudice, as Caroline Manzo wants? It doesn’t seem so. A preview for the next The Real Housewives of New Jersey episode shows Teresa telling Jacqueline Laurita to stop sticking up for Kathy and Rosie, saying that Jacqueline doesn’t even know how her aunt really is. It also shows Kathy’s husband, Rich, angering Joe Gorga after putting the blame on Teresa for their family drama. It then shows Kathy and Rosie meeting up with Teresa and Joe, during which Teresa says that she wants to cut the cancer from her life and Rosie asking Teresa if that means she doesn’t want them to be family ever again.
