Bigfoot In The UK? Is This The First Ever Video Capture Of The Elusive Beast In Britain?
A recent video shot by a man in the United Kingdom might just be the island nation’s first video clip of Bigfoot, the elusive legendary man-beast that traditionally inhabits the woodlands of North America or the snowy mountains of the Himalayas (as the just as elusive Yeti). The videographer claims the footage is proof that Bigfoot exists — at least in Wales.
The Daily Star reported on September 10 that a so-called “Bigfoot enthusiast” by the name of Jason Parsons believes he captured a Bigfoot on video, because, at least to him, the image resembles the traditional form of the somewhat mythical Bigfoot — or Sasquatch, as some prefer. Parsons claims that while investigating what he thought were interesting constructs in the woods on Caerphilly Mountain in Wales (nearly seven miles — 11 kilometers — north of Cardiff), he came within just a few yards of the creature, although he had no idea at the time that he was so close. It wasn’t until he examined the video footage, which he shot as he roamed the mountain, that he noticed tree movement and, subsequently, a large dark man-like image not far from where he stood.
The reported Bigfoot video shows a shadowy figure among the dense trees in the background as Parsons examined a bit of, as he described it, “an oddly broken twig.”
The Welshman said he had noticed some “X-shaped” constructs in the woods on the mountain that he believed were territorial boundary markings left by the Bigfoot creatures. The sightings had prompted him to return and take a closer look.
“Upon my third visit,” he told Daily Star, “while walking up a trail, whether human or Bigfoot is unclear, I noticed an oddly broken twig. I proceeded to film this stick, whilst talking and explaining to the camera what I saw.”
“I did not notice at the time, but later on, while viewing the footage for editing, I noticed movement in the background. To my astonishment, I saw what I can only describe as a gorilla-like figure, slightly blended into the dark bush, but still having a clear form, just like a gorilla or Bigfoot creature might have.”
The 40-year-old Parsons believes his might be the first ever Bigfoot video shot in the United Kingdom. Thus far, others seem to agree.

Parsons’ evidence of the Bigfoot sighting was passed along to Adam Bird, from Nottingham and the co-founder of the British Bigfoot Research organization, who has been investigating Bigfoot sightings in eastern and southern United Kingdom since 2012. He told the Daily Star he believes the Bigfoot video is the first ever on the island.
Bird claims to have had two Bigfoot sightings himself — one in Florida when he was 15 years old, the second in Lincolnshire. During the latter encounter, which occurred in 2014, he was able to capture an image of what he believes was a Sasquatch among the trees.
Although Bird says his photo was probably the best evidence of a Bigfoot ever revealed in the United Kingdom, it still pales in comparison to Parsons video, simply because no researcher or photographer had ever caught a Bigfoot on video.
“But we believe Jason Parsons has captured footage of something quite significant.”

The Parsons video, although nothing as dramatic (and, for some, debunked — per Hoaxes.org) as the famous Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film captured in the western United States in 1967, has enthusiasts and fellow researchers excitedly perusing the footage.
The clip comes just weeks after a video hit the internet purported to be of a Bigfoot crossing through a desert in Portugal, as was reported by Inquisitr. That particular video footage had no foliage to obscure the sandy-colored man-like being slouching along. After a few seconds, said creature moved behind a tall tree or bush and did not emerge. That bit of video footage was denounced as a computer-generated image (CGI). To make matters worse, it was pointed out that the police vehicle in the footage was from America and that there are no deserts in the European nation of Portugal.
