Bethenny Frankel Isn’t Done With ‘Lie-Ann Yet,’ Admits She Wanted To ‘Strangle’ Her ‘RHONY’ Costar

For those that thought Bethenny Frankel’s beef with Luann de Lesseps was over, the Real Housewives of New York star isn’t giving up that easily.

Frankel slammed de Lesseps during this week’s Watch What Happens Live, which also happened to air after the Season 8 reunion.

Clearly, Frankel isn’t quite done with “Lie-Ann” yet.

According to People, host Andy Cohen asked Frankel if she had anything else to say about her fight with de Lesseps during the reunion.

“I really do think that her despicable and tragic behavior speaks of itself. I think that kind of coming in to get the stench off of you and attacking someone else with just a complete falsehood was so blindsiding,” she admitted.

Frankel had a difficult time filming the reunion. Not only was she sick during the July production, but she was tired emotionally and physically.

“I was sick, I had strep, I had 102 fever and I felt like someone came in with a 2×4, like I was crawling out of a hole that I don’t know why someone dumped me in. It was crazy,” she stated.

Frankel and de Lesseps butted heads all season, but the drama really kicked into high gear after de Lesseps targeted Frankel’s boyfriend, Dennis Shields.

Frankel just concluded her messy divorce with Jason Hoppy, while Shields is currently going through a divorce of his own.

During the reunion, de Lesseps accused Frankel of dating a married man and insinuated that she was cheating.

“Yeah, when someone says that I’m cheating or that I’m with someone who’s cheating and it could affect their whole family or flush through a whole press cycle, I’m not in that much of a good mood,” Frankel said.

Things got so bad that Bethenny Frankel almost asked Cohen to bring a lie detector test on set to get down to the truth.

Despite the back and forth with de Lesseps, Frankel doesn’t hold anything against de Lesseps and really isn’t surprised by her actions.

“The weird thing is, I’ve thought about how many [times] over the years I’ve been upset with people,” she stated. “I’m not even upset with her, it’s sort of just expected at this point – Luann’s behavior being in the toilet bowl.”

Of course, Hollywood Life is reporting that Frankel almost reached the point where she strangled her RHONY co-star.

“If I didn’t have a business I would have grabbed Luann by the throat. You saw it,” she told Cohen. “I wouldn’t have minded strangling her. I might have enjoyed it.”

Meanwhile, International Business Times reports that Frankel’s time on RHONY might be at an end.

The reality star admitted that she has been separating herself from everyone on the show ever since the reunion wrapped.

Is this a sign that Frankel is moving on with her life and leaving Bravo’s hit show?

“It was a long year,” Frankel said. “I’m glad the audience is enjoying it, but I’ve left it behind.”

At the end of the day, Frankel viewed her time this season as more like work than fun. Being on the show also takes her away from business and family life.

“I do feel like it is – it’s work,” she explained. “It takes away from running my business and it’s definitely a job. There are press responsibilities, there are Twitter and press arguments that you would never otherwise be involved in. And it’s, you know, it’s a rose that has petals and thorns.”

While Frankel’s future on the show remains uncertain, fans can watch the final episode of the Real Housewives of New York reunion Wednesday night on Bravo.
