Kylie Jenner Helped Tyga Sign Deal With Kanye West Record Label: Wants Him To Be Next Drake

Kylie Jenner is said to have been the mastermind behind Tyga’s record deal with Kanye West’s GOOD Music, the label that stands to be the home for the likes of Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, and Desiigner.

According to Hollywood Life, Kylie knows that Tyga is in good hands with Kanye, who has really pushed his limits in making his artists’ careers successful. After all, his newcomer artist, Desiigner, spent several weeks at number one over the summer with “Panda” — something which Tyga has yet to achieve himself.

His career has faced quite a few ups and downs as of late, especially after the drama that came from signing his first deal with Birdman’s Cash Money label. Tyga was very vocal when saying that, despite having sold more than 4 million copies worldwide, he never received a penny from the execs in charge of the music company, MTV reveals.

Of course, it was later revealed that Tyga wasn’t the only one facing financial issues with Cash Money; Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne soon went on to file their own complaints. But being the supportive girlfriend that she is, Kylie Jenner reportedly discussed the idea of having Tyga on GOOD Music with Kanye.

West and Tyga have become good friends over the last couple of years; they began working with one another back in 2013, and from what reports claimed, Kanye was impressed with the “Rack City” star’s work ethic in the studio. The father of two sees potential in Tyga, and after Kylie made the suggestion, Kanye asked himself why he didn’t make it happen sooner.

“You can thank her for Kanye signing Tyga to G.O.O.D. because she practically twisted Ye’s arm to make it happen,” the source reveals. The likes of Teyana and Desiigner dominating the charts is one of the reasons why Kylie felt the timing for Tyga to sign on for GOOD Music couldn’t be any better.

“They’re blowing up right now. Kylie wants Tyga’s career to explode once again and knows Kanye’s the man to make that happen. Kylie’s been trying to make this happen for Tyga for years, but he didn’t want her in his business like that. But he’s listening now, and Kylie wants him to be on super hip hop statuses like Kanye, Drake, Breezy and the likes.”

Kanye West announced the news that Tyga signed a deal with his record company just three days ago. According to insiders, the rapper has already been working on his first album under Kanye’s umbrella, with possible plans to drop one of the first singles before the year’s end.

Last month, a report claimed that Kylie wanted to make her relationship with Tyga official following their brief time apart from one another back in May. The socialite urged the “Faded” hitmaker to move into her newly-purchased Calabasas home in June — it was her way of showing Tyga that if they were going to reconcile after their short-lived breakup, she wants them to be a serious couple.

Their initial split four months ago was said to have been caused by endless arguments over scheduling conflicts that prevented the twosome from seeing one another as much as they would’ve wanted to. In order to make their relationship work this time around, aside from living together, Kylie is also trying to be more supportive as far as Tyga’s career is concerned, flying to as many concerts as she can, and vice versa with Jenner’s growing business empire.
