The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show drama may still be in full swing, but a supposed new Bravo reality show may still the spotlight from Teresa Giudice and her gang. The Real Housewives of Santa Barbara is currently being cast. Calls reportedly went out last week to socially prominent and wealthy women, according to Radar Online.
Potential cast members are rumored to include at least one prominent divorcee and several married women. No names have yet been leaked, but it is only a matter of time before fans of Bravo’s Real Housewives shows unearth all the juicy details about the new series.
Plans for a Real Housewives of Santa Barbara spinoff was rumored to be in the works for the past several years. Although most of the Bravo spinoffs from the original Orange County show have been rousing successes, the Washington, D.C., series lasted only one season and the Miami-based show is still struggling to find a loyal audience.
A final decision to move forward with the Real Housewives of Santa Barbara will not be made until producers are positive they have the right cast in place, Wet Paint notes. If rumors circulating around the spinoff show are accurate, the new California-based show will be on the air by next September.
If the new addition to the reality series does make it onto the televisions screen, it will be the third California-based RealHousewives show. So far, Andy Cohen has remained mum about the possibility of yet another spinoff on his Twitter page.
