This September 8 Big Brother 18 recap comes from the Thursday night episode. The BB18 house was down to six houseguests at the beginning of this “live” episode, but it was time for another eviction ceremony. The primary focus of the episode was how there would be a new member of the BB18 jury, but it also focused on a crumbling showmance that had been progressing for most of the summer 2016 season. This episode of the show was aired by CBS on Thursday, September 8, at 9 p.m. PT/ET.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Natalie Negrotti and James Huling had been nominated for eviction. Victor Arroyo won the latest Head of Household competition, giving him the power to nominate two people of his choice. Victor decided to keep his alliance with Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks going, which meant that it was time to put Natalie and James on the block. Corey then won the Power of Veto, but decided not to use it, dictating that either Natalie or James was going to get sent to the BB18 jury on Thursday night.

After Julie Chen gave her introduction to the September 8 Big Brother 18 episode, it was time to roll the footage from the “previously on Big Brother ” segment. Victor was shown giving a Diary Room session where he talked about rewarding Corey and Nicole for keeping him safe and then giving him the $5,000 bribe. Then it rolled into footage of Natalie “throwing James under the bus” while having a meeting with Paul Abrahamian and Victor. Finally, Corey was shown winning the Veto competition (again), bringing the episode up to the new footage from the BB18 house.
James Huling got the first new Diary Room session shown by CBS, talking about the trouble his showmance with Natalie Negrotti had been going through. Nicole Franzel also had a Diary Room interview, where she stated she didn’t want to go after James, but also didn’t want to do anything that could upset Paul or Victor at this point of the season. It was then time to start showing footage of where James and Natalie started having arguments in the backyard. Natalie began blaming James for the position she was in, causing a lot of drama in the BB18 house.

This is the point of the September 8 Big Brother 18 recap where alliances start to get questioned. Corey Brooks and Nicole Franzel began discussing how it might be time to start working with James, not only because they wanted him to target Paul and Victor if he were to win Head of Household, but because they had become frustrated with how Natalie was treating him. A lot of footage was shown about the chaos developing in the “Jatalie” alliance, which was explained more in depth during a recent report by the Inquisitr .

In between past footage, host Julie Chen let CBS viewers know that former contestants Jeff and Jordan are now expecting a baby boy. The couple even got to have a segment during the “live” show. This will be the second baby to come from former houseguests who became couples while inside the Big Brother house. Alums Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas presented their new daughter to friends earlier this season, which is likely going to take place with Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd at some point during BB19 or BB20 .

Later in the September 8 Big Brother 18 episode, it was time to show Michelle Meyer making her arrival at the BB18 jury house. Zakiyah Everette and Paulie Calafiore were shown talking, and then Da’Vonne Rogers stated that they are now together again in the jury house. Michelle showed how she got voted out of the house, with Nicole casting the deciding vote to break a 2-2 tie. It was then time for the current houseguests to send someone new to join Zakiyah, Paulie, Da’Vonne, Michelle, and Bridgette Dunning in the jury house (mansion).
At the Week 11 eviction ceremony, Paul Abrahamian, Corey Brooks, and Nicole Franzel served as the three voters. Each of them voted to evict Natalie Negrotti, making her the sixth member of the BB18 jury. Wrapping up the September 8 Big Brother 18 episode, the houseguests began participating in the latest Head of Household competition, but there wasn’t enough time to complete it during the “live” show. It will finish on the CBS live feeds. Fans wanting to keep up with the Big Brother 18 spoilers about the HOH competition can read a report by the Inquisitr found here .
