Mike Tyson And Kendra Wilkinson Land Roles In ‘Scary Movie 5’
Celebrities Mike Tyson and Kendra Wilkinson have scored parts in the upcoming motion picture Scary Movie 5, according to Cinema Blend. The film, which already counts Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan among its notable appearances, is apparently banking on a number of cameos to help draw people into theaters. If everything goes according to director’s Malcolm D. Lee’s plans, the film will attempt to generate some money at the US box office next year.
In addition to Mike Tyson and Kendra Wilkinson, Scary Movie 5 has managed to wrangle budding actress Audrina Patridge into the fold. Patridge, who made a name for herself on the MTV reality show The Hills, has appeared in such lukewarm motion pictures as Sorority Row and Into the Blue 2: The Reef. In 2011, she starred in her very own VH1 reality series entitled Audrina.
Scary Movie 5 marks yet another cameo for Mike Tyson, who also appeared in two Hangover films thus far. Given that he made an unexpected appearance at the end of the first sequel, there’s a very strong possibility that director Todd Phillips could invite guy the guy back for yet another cameo in the upcoming Hangover III.
According to the Daily Mail, actress Heather Locklear has also signed on to participate in Malcolm D. Lee’s Scary Movie 5. The Melrose Place alum will reportedly play star Ashley Tisdale’s mother in the upcoming comedy. In true Scary Movie fashion, the character she plays in the film is apparently a spoof of Barbara Hershey’s unstable mom in the Natalie Portman ballet drama Black Swan.
In addition to the aforementioned cameos, Scary Movie 5 also features Molly Shannon, Regina Hall, Simon Rex, Craig Bierko, Anthony Anderson, and Kate Walsh. The fifth installment of the long-running comedy franchise is slated to arrive in US theaters on April 13, 2013.
