Does Calvin Harris Want Taylor Swift Back Despite Dating Eiza González?
Calvin Harris regrets his tweets and the aftermath of his split with Taylor Swift. The 32-year-old music producer opened up to GQ magazine about those tweets in which he accused the singer of dragging him via the media. Now, it seems like Calvin is having a change of heart about their faltered relationship.
The “How Deep Is Your Love” hitmaker is finally opening up about his split with long-time girlfriend, Taylor Swift. To some, it would seem like Harris would want to rekindle his romance with Swift, 26, as seen in his new interview with British GQ. He had nothing but kind words to say about his famous ex-girlfriend, leading some to wonder if he still has feelings for it.
“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly,” Harris said. “The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself. When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense.”

It’s clear that Harris still reeling from their split despite his attempts to move on and enjoy the single life. Harris and Swift ended their relationship after 15-months of dating. Two weeks later, Swift went public with her relationship with British actor Tom Hiddleston.
At first, it seemed like the split was amicable as Harris tweeted that the two still had a “huge amount of love and respect” for each other, notes Us Weekly. Then, things took a bad turn when Harris confirmed Swift wrote the lyrics to his single “This Is What You Came For,” which features Rihanna.
“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” he tweeted at the time. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

He also brought up Swift’s longtime feud with Katy Perry in the scathing series of tweets. But, in the interview, Harris said that the relationship simply just didn’t work out between them. He appeared to be sad by the way that things suddenly ended. Looking back, Harris revealed that he regrets tweeting anything about his ex.
“For both of us, it was the wrong situation,” Harris said. “It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended…” his voice trailed off. “It was completely the wrong extinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped. I’m not good at being a celebrity, but when it all ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize none of that matters. I’m a positive guy.”

Harris’ GQ interview comes one day after Swift ended her three-month relationship with Hiddleston, 35. Meanwhile, Harris has been linked with Mexican actress and model Eiza González over the Labor Day weekend. While promoting the third season of her show, From Dusk to Down, González told Variety Latino that she wants to keep her “personal life private” and that she has “nothing” to say about her night out with Harris.
Despite the romance rumors, sources told E! News that Harris is only enjoying the single life after his split with Swift. He’s also been previously linked to R&B singer Tinashe.
