‘Big Brother 18’ Recap: Spoilers From September 7 Episode, Veto Results Revealed, Primary Target Shifts
This September 7 Big Brother 18 recap comes from the Wednesday night episode. The BB18 house had officially turned on Natalie Negrotti and James Huling, with new Head of Household Victor Arroyo declaring that they would become the primary targets for eviction. The newest episode focused on how the Veto competition would play out and whether the Veto winner would shake up the BB18 house by shifting the nominees. This episode of the show was aired by CBS on Wednesday, September 7, at 8 p.m. PT/ET.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Victor Arroyo won the Week 11 HOH competition, giving him the power to choose which duo he wanted to work with for the rest of the summer. Victor sided with Corey Brooks and Nicole Franzel, opting to nominate James Huling and Natalie Negrotti for eviction. He stated that his primary target was going to be James, due to the actions that James made to get him evicted. Victor also stated that Natalie was just a pawn for the week. That set a clear path for who might be joining the BB18 jury very soon.

The September 7 Big Brother 18 episode began in typical fashion, with the “previously on Big Brother” segment to open the hour. First, the eviction of Michelle Meyer was shown, where outgoing Head of Household Nicole Franzel had the deciding vote to send her to the jury. It was then time to show highlights of the HOH competition, where the houseguests had to work eggs around the outside of a mesh hen house. Victor won the HOH and then made his nominations for eviction, despite James trying to convince him that it was time to leave the final four alliance with Corey and Nicole.

Nicole Franzel got the first Diary Room session of the episode, showing her in tears about James Huling being on the block. It was clear that Nicole felt bad that James had become the primary target and that he could be leaving the BB18 house very soon. She did note, though, that she was still pleased that she and Corey Brooks had been spared from the nomination block this week. This scene might enamor her with Big Brother fans again, as it could hint at an alliance forming between the veterans again.
Then came what might have been the most important component of this September 7 Big Brother 18 recap. Natalie Negrotti went up to the HOH room to meet with Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo about what had transpired recently. Using Victor’s words, Natalie “threw James under the bus” by blaming him for her not defending Paul and Victor the previous weeks. She stated that she shouldn’t have been convinced by James to do it. Then Natalie went downstairs and told James that she had told the guys to evict her this week (she did not do that).

At the Veto competition, the houseguests had to participate in a MacGyver-themed challenge, where they had to get out of a series of rooms using quick-thinking and tools they could find. Each houseguest went at a different time, with the winner being the one who completed the course the fastest. It turned out to be an exciting competition for fans to watch on television, even though it was heavily edited to add dramatic effect (with makeup and fake explosions). Corey Brooks finished with the best time, winning the Week 11 Power of Veto.

While there were a few discussions about how the BB18 house might approach the Veto ceremony, Corey was pretty set on going with the plan that the final four alliance had put in place. In the most unsurprising component of this September 7 Big Brother 18 recap, Corey declined to use the Veto when given the chance. This means that Natalie Negrotti and James Huling will be the two houseguests up for eviction on Thursday night, with the next evicted person becoming the sixth member of the BB18 jury.
The season finale is coming up quickly, but the drama in the BB18 house hasn’t slowed down. For fans interested in reading more Big Brother 18 spoilers, specifically focusing on the implosion of one showmance, another report by the Inquisitr provides that information.
