Taylor Swift Dumps Tom Hiddleston: 4 Men Who She Might Date Next
Well, “Hiddeswift” is officially no more. Us Weekly exclusively reported that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston amicably parted ways. Although the quote from insiders made it seem as if (yet again) Taylor Swift was throwing an ex-boyfriend under the bus.
“She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship,” a source told Us Weekly. “Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”
The source added that Hiddleston is “embarrassed that the relationship fizzled out.”
With the three-month love affair over, some are wondering how soon we can expect a new album. Others are already anticipating a new boy toy for Taylor. Well, it may be in Swift’s best interests to hold off on going public with a new man for some time. There was massive backlash regarding her brief fling with Tom Hiddleston, much of it centering around accusations of faking for the cameras.

Few people genuinely believed her relationship with Hiddleston was anything other than PR. It didn’t help that, as Perez Hilton pointed out, the two were official barely two weeks after Swift dropped Scottish former flame Calvin Harris. As Taylor Swift’s love life is strongly linked to her music career and fame, she will definitely want to plot a less dramatic course going forward.
While we wait for Taylor to get back on that relationship horse and ride into the sunset, let’s do a bit of speculating about what worthy guys could stand a chance as Taylor Swift’s next conquest.
Sean O’Pry
If Taylor Swift is truly all about faking relationships, then Sean O’Pry is already ahead of the game. We last saw O’Pry as a pretend love match in her video “Blank Space.”
If the two were to make an actual love connection, let’s hope life doesn’t imitate art. Things didn’t end very well for Sean and Taylor in the video. What a hilarious turn of events it would be if this romantic match happened and wound up as an enduring love affair.

Asa Butterfield
Assuming Taylor Swift isn’t done with British boyfriends altogether, she might try her luck at a younger up-and-comer. Asa Butterfield is a rising English actor with buzzworthy talent. At 19, Butterfield is a few years younger than Swift. However, it wouldn’t be the first time Taylor Swift made a play for a younger man.
She was gaga over 18-year-old Connor Kennedy when she was 24. The Daily Mail claims that relationship failed to go anywhere because Swift came on just a little too strong. As the older woman in the relationship, we can only hope time and experience would have Taylor Swift playing it much cooler.
Jordan Barrett
I really think Taylor Swift should get some nice arm candy the next time out. You don’t get much nicer than Aussie male model Jordan Barrett. Without a movie or music career on the line, there doesn’t seem anything at risk for Barrett. Likewise, dating Jordan would no doubt be a step up for Taylor.
He’s also a few years younger than Taylor Swift, but who cares? They would look fantastic together at every red carpet event.
Calvin Harris

Yes, I know it sounds crazy. However, I feel like image-wise, it’s going to be extremely hard for Taylor Swift to do better than Calvin Harris. Things soured when Swift unceremoniously dumped Harris for Hiddleston. They also grew worse when attempts to retroactively attack Calvin went poorly.
Still, it’s hard not to look at their 15-month relationship and remember how well they looked together. Perhaps hard feelings can be set aside, and the two might give their love another chance?

If Taylor Swift is more interested in PR than love, then I feel sorry for her reps; it was a doozy just coming up with a few guys for this article. I can’t imagine the work that publicists would have cut out for them if fake romances are truly in vogue. However, I did try to give Swift the benefit of the doubt, which is why Calvin Harris made the list.
